This setup allows a smooth on-road driving experience, yet possesses enough travel to make quick work of difficult off-road obstacles. Add to the mix Jeep's Quadra-Lift air suspension (4WD models only) and the performance only gets better. "I've been looking at SUV's for months, including the MDX, Q7, X5, ML, GL, JX35, Land Rover, and Range Rover. These 'luxury' vehicles range from $50-90K with most averaging $65-75K once loaded with options. I've been a biased import buyer for years after getting burned by American car quality too many times. but the reality is, my other cars have had issues as well, and I wouldn't dare own one out of warranty. So I started thinking, why not save a few bucks and see what domestic brands have to offer? I looked at the Explorer. Nice feature set, but the smell of plastic and fit & finish were a big turnoff for me. Since I was looking at the X5 and Rovers etc... my expectations were pretty high. Then I started looking at the 2014 Grand Cherokee. Online it looked like the car had everything. Loaded out this had more tech, off-road, engine, and luxury options than any of the other makes, and for thousands less. So, I went to the dealer and checked it out. After driving the Overland I was a bit underwhelmed, but then sat in the Summit. Wow! 'Suede' headliner, rich leather everywhere, upgraded wood, killer stereo, panorama roof, and on and on. This car has a Rover feel for $10K less than Acura, $20K less than BMW, and a whopping $40K less than Range Rover. It may not have the 'luxury' badge but it delivers the goods. As far as quality...my BMW had plenty of issues and even my Acura had the drivetrain replaced at 57K miles! No car is bulletproof, so just hoping the Jeep holds up to my other experiences. So far so good!"

I love this car
