Pros: "Fast, comforts of home, plenty of room."

Cons: "Goes through tires every 20k miles (if I'm lucky;)"

"Not an exageration! I've owned everything from an SL550 (current driver), to my SRT to Corvettes (blah) to muscle cars (67 Chevelle SS) ... all told probably 15+ vehicles and the SRT was THE BEST! I bought it with 15k miles on it back in 2007 (currently have 100k) and it's going to kill me to pass along to some lucky individual. Sadly, the wife wants a 4dr Rubicon and it would be sad for this baby to sit idle. I have NEVER had an issue with this ride ... and for those wondering, yes I have been a multiple Jeep Grand Cherokee owner."

"We purchased the vehicle with 50K on it. At 70K, one of the Hemi MDS solenoids went out and it was spewing oil all over the ground. At 100K, things starting failing left and right. Tire pressure sensors started to go and dealer installed new ones but has been unable to get them to properly communicate with the computer. 4WD system stopped working in 4 Lo, some of the dash lights in the center console went out and they are NOT replaceable! You have to buy the entire switch panel and/or HVAC controls to fix it. The fresh air inlet flapper door broke, the heater motor went out. The vehicle drives and handles nice and does great offroad and in the snow but we cannot afford to keep it any longer!"

Pros: "Nice audio system, good power"

Cons: "Unreliable, costly to repair"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"By far this is one of the WORST cars we've ever owned. We've owned our fully-loaded 4.7L 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4 since it was brand new, and now she has 212k miles on her. It's terrible on gas, the transmission is noisy, but the 4X4 works great. The seats are uncomfortable and are ripped up from use. We've taken the Jeep on many longer trips, and have all been fatigued when we got out of it. The radio no longer functions, and it's the navigation radio, which isn't recommended. The speedometer no longer works, and the ABS and brake systems need work. The front differential was rebuilt in 2014, as it made a "clunking" noise, and the EGR valve had to be replaced as well. But at least she's been running as long as she's been running, and it's time for a replacement vehicle. Even though we've had a terrible experience with this one, we're still getting a newer Jeep, as the newer ones are impressive."

Pros: "A great vehicle to drive."

Cons: "Could be a little bit better on gas millage."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This Jeep is 4.7 V8 all wheel drive flex fuel. It is an excellent vehicle to have during the winter months. With over 198,000 mile and still purrs like a champ. Gas millage not so good. The V6 gets better millage but is prone to more repairs according to people I talk with that owns the V6. If you don't mind the 15-17 mile per gallon, then you will love this vehicle. No major repair except for the water pump. Just the basic maintenance: brakes, oil change, tune up,tires, wiper blades etc."
