I own this car - My approximate mileage is 136,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I have had this Jeep (not SUV) for 5 years and out side of the normal breaks, water pump, and tires this puff kitty Jeep has done everything I've asked of it. NoT a Rubicon but it will go where any std. Wrangler will go. This is my work vehical and has over 130k miles and still give me a great ride on a long trip. The 2k trade in isn't worth mentioning for this Jeep because I'll run it till the pistons wear out before I give it up. Hope this was helpful."

"The in-line 6cyl is bullet proof if you just take care of it. I have owned this car for 10 years and I have changed the brakes, rotors, shocks, left and right front axle (4wd), radiator, water pump and thermostat. I pulled the children when they were little in the snow, hauled everything from horse feed to landscape mulch. Obviously, this vehicle has been very good for me."

I owned and sold this car
Reason: Couldn't afford to fix anymore - My approximate mileage is 164,000
Pros: "Look good, Interior comfortable"
Cons: "Everything else"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I bought this as my first car. $3,400. Little did I know, it was only worth $2,500 when I bought it. I fell in love with the leather, power seats, nice speakers, all that. We owned this thing for eight months. It was my daily driver for only six of those eight months. In that time, the brakes locked up, windows quit working, radio quit, power seats quit, speakers gave out, the fan quit working several times, the air had to be recharged, and it caught fire. A relay went out several times and had to be replaced, it was the relay to the fan or something and the fan didn't come on one too many times and it overheated one too many times until the head gasket cracked and the water pump went out. We put over $3,000 into fixing this thing until we had had enough one day and sold it. I never thought I would be so happy to see that thing lave my life. I was proud of it for a while, but after all of my classmates laughed at me on the side of the road with the hood up, kicking it, I wasn't too proud. Some fool bought it and gave it to his son. I feel bad for that poor soul that has to drive that piece of junk."

"I bought this jeep brand new. besides it chewing up tires and brakes I had awesome luck with it. Looking for another one now. That jeep kept me save and my kids. I can't believe I put that many miles on it(17 miles on it when I purchased it) and it would still be still going had it not been totaled. But no one got hurt and thats all that matters"
