Pros: "A great, tough vehicle."

Cons: "Handles like a 4-wheeler."

"I love this vehicle and do not want to give it up but we only have a two car garage and the new Lincoln cannot sit outside. I bought it new. It has always been garaged, never and I mean never left outside. I have complete records on everything ever done to the vehicle and every dollar spent on maintenance and repairs. It got a new heater core, tie rod ends, shocks and and General grabber OS tires last year. It runs like a top. Mobil One from day one. Has a cold lifter tick that goes away when warmed up. Select trac 4 wheel drive used all winter. Can't be stopped in the snow. No off-road use. Not a speck of rust,"

Great all around street and off road vehicle.

Pros: "Great for off trail adventures."

Cons: "Very sensitive to aftermarket parts and fluids."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This vehicle has lots of room for passengers and/or cargo. With the adjustable pedals and tilt steering, driving this vehicle is very comfortable. Handle very nice on freeways and streets. Even better in bad driving conditions such as flooded streets, snow covered streets, icy roads, loose gravel, and sand. No need to stop when traversing from paved roads to dirt trails with the Quadradrive drive system. It does the thinking for you. Perfect for someone who does not stay within the lines. Surprisingly with the 4.7L H.O. engine the gas mileage is very nice. With the 20.5 gallon tank, driving for long distances, I am able to exceed the 450 mile mark on one tank. On the streets the mileage does drop to about 360 miles per tank. Still exceptional for a 2002 V8."

Pros: "Great in snow and off road, extremely reliables"

Cons: "Gas mileage, Handling could be better"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Ive had a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee since 2011. It had 75 thousand miles on it when I purchased it. Now it has 132 thousand. Despite a few wiring issues in the wiring harness in the door jams and a failed water pump this thing has only had the usual maintenance. Oil changes every 3500 miles full synthetic, and breaks and rotors every now and then. Its only gotten stuck twice in the snow, both times due too my poor judgement and getting high centered. Ive taken it on many road trips, the farthest being 1500 miles. Absolutely no problems. My mileage in city is an average of 13, so not the greatest. Average highway is 19, but ive gotten up to 24 with the wind to my back. To me its the best car ive ever owned. Definitely go with the 4.0 I6 if you can find one."

Pros: "joy to drive"

Cons: "not yet"

"Ibought this jeep in 2015 a 2001 with 103,000miles im the second owner. It has 108,00 now normal oil changes 3000 miles.Quality top notch.Beutifull inside and out.The only thing I have replaced is the 02 sencers when my check engine light came on.Which is normal for the miles in my opinion. And one window regulator which ive heard alot of bad about.Ihave select trac snow in colorado can be bad slip it in all wheel drive never spun a tire yet.Rotors perfect factory units.Four low is awsome you can jump out and walk beside your jeep faster than it will go down a trail. The 4.0 strait 6 is a wonderful power plant tried and true.Ive spoke to alot of ase mech whove said the 4.7 is a bad v8 valve seats etc stay away.Sure the 4.0 lacks in horse power but is so reliable if properly maintained.Ilove my grand cherokee laredo maybe I have a good one or maybe its just proper maintenance but I would recomend this jeep to anyone for comfort and reliability and off road capebility.2001 in my opinion they got it right."
