"I have owned this vehicle for over 3 years- It rides well and has new tires, brakes in the front rotors all over- muffler, battery, as well as other other new services that a mechanic could see. The vehicle is very good in the snow- and with more maintenance or customs- could be a very enviable car-- radio and cd does not work neither-- one door on the drivers passenger side does not open-- but trunk is clean-- and opens- as well as all other doors. Car is a very clean looking suv"
Pros: "4x4 is fantastic. Lots of room. Drives great."
Cons: "Fuel Mileage is not great."

"This is a great vehicle to own. It is tame on the street, but wild when taken off-road. It is fantastic for all weather conditions....
Ice...piece of cake.
Rain...Ha, it laughs in the face of a thunder storm."
"My dad got into a wreck with my jeep during the winter and it SAVED HIS LIFE!! If he would have been in his van, he would have died. This jeep has been great! I got it when I turned 16 and at 21 it is still running strong! Only minor repairs: brakes, tires, AC, muffler ( keeps falling off), and fuel pump. Gas mileage isn't wonderful, but the 4 wheel drive in the winter is awesome. I've never gotten stuck in since I've had this jeep (5yrs). I plan on getting my children a jeep when they become of age to drive. Very safe and dependable.
"Learn the jeep and know it...Computer usually dies after 10 years, bad crank/cam sensor will keep it from starting, water pump (I6) goes out every few years,...these jeeps have their quirks, but when you know what they do--you immediately know how to go about diagnosing and/or fixing. (9.5/10) Great in snow!"
"I have owned this car for a while and I have found it to be very dependable. It starts up every time I turn the key and runs fairly smoothly considering it is almost 20 years old and has nearly 300,000 miles on it. The only thing that disappoints me is the headliner. I have talked to several Jeep owners of this era and they all have the same problem, headliner has come unglued. Nearly impossible to fix myself and I have gotten pricing from $350 to $500 to repair, so a little spray glue and I have learned to live with it. Jeep/Chrysler should make engines that last this long with so few problems today. Had a slant 6 on a 1960 Valiant back in the day another great engine."
