I own this car - My approximate mileage is 150,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Absolute joy on the road"
Cons: "Cupholder and armrest seem to broken on all jags."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"Handles brilliantly in various weather conditions and has demonstrated power upon demand. The British racing green VDP is one of my all time favorite looks. I will never sell this car and plan on giving it to my son. The chrome on this car reminds me of the chrome on my 1950's Caddy. Nothing cheap or poorly done. I highly urge someone to pick one up in good condition. I have put thousands into mine to bring it back and it now functions like new. I have an 2000 XJ8 and it is a lot faster but truly lacks the sophistication of the VDP XJ6. Cheers"

"This car is in outstanding condition. It has new brakes, rotors and calipers. New Shocks-New Spark-plugs-new hoses, two brand new tires mounted plus one new one in trunk. All new wheel bearings. New catalytic converters. A couple of dings on the exterior, but nice British racing green paint. The interior is very nice, except for the cup holder etc inbetween the front seats. The driver seat shows a little wear, but the other three seats are as new.All the carpeting is still in new condition."

"All you could ask for in a top of the line luxury car. Great quality, basically trouble free for the 1st 78K miles and gets 29 mpg highway. The aluminum body and frame combined with the 300 HP V8 are a great combination. Rides like a limo corners like a sports car. No one ever asked what kind of car this is...they instantly recognize a Jaguar."

"The gas mileage for this car is unbelievable for it's size, luxury and class. We average 29.8 highway driving over 10,000 and city driving 22+ depending on how "hot foot" we get through traffic...hehehehe..and this car can really move! It is fast, sure footed and interior quiet and quality IS second to none! Don't bother paying for another brand's supposed "higher" value and buy the the real deal...get the Jag. you will not regret it..this is our second and not our last!"
