Cons: "probably expensive to maintain out of warranty?"

"I haven't owned it long enough to determine reliability, but its under warranty anyway. I get looks in this car everywhere I go. Too many Beemers and Mercedes everywhere. Car is fast, smooth and great milage with the V6. Super smooth ride and great handling. Bought it one year old and got a steal for $40k"
"I have the SFR with the 510 hp supercharged engine that performs better than imagined. It is quick, nimble, and feels like it rides on rails. The 0 to 60 time is much better than 4.3, more like 3.8, and the 70 to 120 is mind blowing. This is a true exotic sports car tucked in a stylish sports sedan skin. It will out perform anything BMW has to offer. My only complain is the driver's seat is meant for a guy fifty pounds lighter than me but I'm trying to loose weight!"
Pros: "Fit. Finish, Quality, Aesthetics and POWER!"
Cons: "Fuel economy in Sport Mode!"

"I own the XFR Edition, utilizing a 5.0 liter 510 HP Supercharged V8. In Sport Mode, this car will literally leave you pinned to your seat under maximum throttle. With the gear selector in Sport Mode, downshifts are tremendously powerful and crisp, without any significant delay. The interior is gorgeous, with a suede headliner, XFR Edition seats to keep you comfortable but in control. The hand stitched leather, aluminum trim with genuine wood in a gray finish are impeccably designed. I have had no issues with this vehicle and this is my second XF, my first was the supercharged XF 4.2 liter V8."
"This isn't so much a review about the Jag, but instead how I feel about the car.
I'm a technical guy and I can't help but analyze and find design flaws in everything I use. With cars, I tend to fixate on the bad aspects of design and they ultimately drive me to selling the car in search of something that doesn't have those flaws. I sold my Mustang GT because it was showing signs of fatigue after only 3 years. I bought a 3 year old Mercedes CLK550 that in comparison drove like new. I sold it because despite it having ample power and being high quality, it was no fun to drive. The gearbox ruined that car.
So, I ended up buying a 3 year old XF Supercharged because the gearbox tends to do the right thing when you need it to. It doesn't have quite the same build quality as the Mercedes, but it has something better. It has character and it's a blast to drive. After years of ownership, I still love this car and am still excited to get in the driving seat every time. No other car has done that for me, and wow, is it quick!"
