"I just purchased this vehicle, and I am very pleased with the car. It has a lot of room. I just recently went on a short trip to Natchez, Ms. The car performed excellent on the highway also, in city driving. Plenty of room more than just enough. Only a few minor things needs attention, which probably will cost me about 1500 dollars. I believe that I could have not made a better purchase. I plan on keeping this car for a very long time."

"Drove about 500 mi/wk x8yrs in this car for work. Tons of weekend trips in the 150-200 mile avg. and idled the car for too long -all the time and Never stranded! I wish they still made suv's like this. I replaced the transmission for about $3k at 150k miles and still have not had an issue with the engine. It's been my weekend car for about 5yrs now. The body style still looks cool even a decade later!"

"I Bought my Isuzu Rodeo from a dealership for $3,600. everything was good for about a month but then i started to hear engine ticking, apparently i have a collapsed cylinder in the engine. i imagine the car would have been great had i bought it brand new, but the last owner obviously didnt take good care of the car."

"I have a 2004 Rodeo with the 3.5L engine. Started having problems around 60,000 miles and have had nothing but problems since. Have replaced a fuel injector and timing belt, but need an oil control valve that is on national back order for the next 6 months to 2 years. No way to pass an emissions test with the check engine light on. I love everything about this truck except for the inability to get parts. Very sad to have to get rid of it, but I need a reliable vehicle or at least one the I can get parts for."

overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"This car has been great - very few problems. Drives like a truck and have been told since around the 2nd year I owned it that I should get new shocks/struts soon (never did) 257,000 miles and still going - never had transmission worked on (finally needs it) and very little major work needed to be done. Alas, they don't make this car anymore or I would recommend you get one."
