"ive owned my 01 rodeo for about a month now. It drives great, has some power, and gets decent mileage. I love the power and winter options it has at the ready, along with the autolocking hubs and 4x4 button. I have had to do some work to it, nothing special that any other car would require (EGR VAULVE AND THROTTLE BODY CLEANED) but i noticed that this model and year has a fuel level sensor problem. It throws codes and then you cant pass deq.. going to put it in the shop to get it fixed. Other than that this car has been a blessing so far. wish it was easier to find aftermarket parts for it though!"
Pros: "great style, fast, easy to drive and park, fun"
Cons: "gas mileage, smaller size than I'm used to-6'-4""

"Taking into consideration that owners either really love this Isuzu Rodeo SUV or they really hate it, I'm on the good side of that coin. I have made some changes to affect the performance slightly, but nothing other then performance chips and no engine work per say. This SUV with it's V-6 motor, starts to truly perform when you have it up at the 60 MPH range and above. It easily flies past most all other cars on the road of it's type and most cars overall at those higher speeds. I am very surprised on the smooth level of control and the slick dynamics it creates while driving. For an older ride, I couldn't ask for anything more from it. I have custom graphics on the exterior side panels, custom stripes & pin stripes, slightly wider and taller tires, black painted rims with a red pin stripe, a 1000 & a 1200 watt double amp kit with a capacitor, a DVD/CD double din stereo system in dash with a rear view camera and 10 good quality speakers with an added big sub woofer too. I have racing style seat covers and matching floor mats, custom interior LED lighting, in dash LED lighting, a brush guard and full length side bumper bars both 3" round black steel tubing, G P S guidance and limo black tinted windows with window guard deflectors on all windows. For a 2000 ride, it's a heck of a good looking 15(going on 16), year old SUV. I love it and know with my good up keep it's going to last me for many years."
"It is a shame that the Rodeo really has no trade in value for such a reliable SUV. It has been a real pleasure owining a Rodeo. No major problems. Changed EGR valve and that's about it. Has 160,000 miles and would probably go 160,000 more. Selling the car due to new purchase. Would have purchased another Rodeo if Isuzu still made them."
