I own this car - My approximate mileage is 154,000

Pros: "Takes abuse, comfy ride, looks good"

Cons: "Wide turning ratio, audible wind resistance >70mph"

"Drove about 500 mi/wk x8yrs in this car for work. Tons of weekend trips in the 150-200 mile avg. and idled the car for too long -all the time and Never stranded! I wish they still made suv's like this. I replaced the transmission for about $3k at 150k miles and still have not had an issue with the engine. It's been my weekend car for about 5yrs now. The body style still looks cool even a decade later!"

Good first time car.

Pros: "great on space, perfect for road trips"

Cons: "cant replace certain parts."

"I Bought my Isuzu Rodeo from a dealership for $3,600. everything was good for about a month but then i started to hear engine ticking, apparently i have a collapsed cylinder in the engine. i imagine the car would have been great had i bought it brand new, but the last owner obviously didnt take good care of the car."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 67,600

Pros: "Lots of space, great sound system!"

Cons: "Can no longer get parts..."

"I have a 2004 Rodeo with the 3.5L engine. Started having problems around 60,000 miles and have had nothing but problems since. Have replaced a fuel injector and timing belt, but need an oil control valve that is on national back order for the next 6 months to 2 years. No way to pass an emissions test with the check engine light on. I love everything about this truck except for the inability to get parts. Very sad to have to get rid of it, but I need a reliable vehicle or at least one the I can get parts for."

Reliable beast of a car

"This car has been great - very few problems. Drives like a truck and have been told since around the 2nd year I owned it that I should get new shocks/struts soon (never did) 257,000 miles and still going - never had transmission worked on (finally needs it) and very little major work needed to be done. Alas, they don't make this car anymore or I would recommend you get one."

This car has been very dependable

Pros: "I feel like it has been fun"

Cons: "I have no navigation system which I now need"

"Every time I think of trading this car in I get sad. It has been a part of me for 13 years and very dependable. It has taken care of me so I have taken care of it. I hope the next owner loves it as much as I have. I have never had to do anything except routine work. The dealership I purchased it from no longer have Isuzu mechanics on their staff since they no longer sell the car. I think eventually there may be no place I can get it serviced. I like the idea that the exterior design was never changed which means it does not look like an old car."

Pros: "Rugged will get out anything mud snow you name it"

Cons: "CD player had to be replaced twice."

"Best I've ever owned. This SUV has given me no serious ( expensive) problems to date. 6 drives in is vehicle 2 WD, 4wD, snow drive, power drive,4hi, 4 lo. I was able to laugh at my neighbors as they were stuck in Chicago snow. I'm in Florida now so I don't need an SUV anymore but this truck has been a best friend for 12 years. Shame they no longer make them."
