"I have owned two Isuzu Rodeos. One was a 1998 (was totaled in 2002 with 100,000 miles on it) and the one a currently own is a 2004. Sadly I'm trading it in today to get a minivan since my husband and I are expecting our third child and need more space. Both of my Rodeos never needed any large repairs. I"ve replaced my brakes and my tires and that's it. My one complaint is that the check engine light constantly goes off if the gas cap is not replaced tightly. It goes off within a few days but it still has been annoying. The Rodeo is a great midsize SUV for the price. There are no fancy features but it is a comfortable ride. Also, when I was rear ended by a drunk driver last year with my 4 week old daughter in the back, my car suffered little damage. His truck was totaled. I have always felt very safe in this car. I will miss this car!!!!!"

"We bought this car 100,000 miles ago when it was 30,000 miles. It has taken us all around the US and has been completly dependable. It has only ever failed to start once and it was still under warranty, the fuel pump had gone out. We have done regular maintenance and this is all we have ever had to put into the car. It easily has another 130,000 miles in it and we plan to keep it for its whole life. We would definetly buy another Isuzu and can't say enough good things about this car. Still runs, sounds, and drives like the day we bought it."

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my Isuzu Rodeo, which has been a faithful road companion for the past 10 years, for over 150,000 miles. I'm giving it away to a charity tomorrow because it won't pass smog this year because of the check engine light. Despite the engine light, it still runs fine, and it has only failed to take me to my destination once in all of the 10 years that I've had it. Thanks buddy. I'll miss you."
