Pros: "style, fun to drive, comfortable, trunk space,"

Cons: "expensive upkeep, horrible mpg,"

"This is the second car I have ever owned; my first was a 1985 Benz. I really fell in love with the car when I saw it, plus it had a newer radio added in that could charge my phone with an usb. But this car turns heads everywhere I go. It has so much style and class, I feel presidential when I pull up in this luxury car.... But it also comes with a presidential price (in my eyes) Breaks alone cost almost 700$. I expected with the mileage and age there would be some maintance that I needed to keep up with, but now I’m in over my head. One mechanic tells me one thing, another tells me different. I have bought about 4 serpentine belts, replaced pulleys and my car still screeches when i turn it one and no one can seem to pin point why. I have replaces the power steering, water pump, alternator, battery, pulleys, & sensor. My check engine light is still on and I can't figure out why. The rear wheel drive sucks in the winter, but it's not the worst, I live in Ohio and this winter really test my wheels, only get stuck when trying to park or get out a parking spot. Bottom line, if you have the money and a trustable mechanic I say go for it. It’s a beautiful car; the v8 premium is a guzzler but to be able to take off on a new sports car, strokes my ego. I don't want to part with my car but my pockets hurt so I guess it’s time."

"Beautiful to look at, wonderful to drive. Never any major issues. My car currently has approximately 220,000 miles and still drives like a dream. Sound system is incredible. Only ever done minor repairs. Been on countless road trips. I absolutely love this car."

Pros: "beautiful, luxurious with every option"

Cons: "HORRIBLY expensive to service! only premium gas"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"It is a wonderful car, luxury in every way! Still starts up no matter what the temperature, but had to buy a $200 battery for it to do that! Struts went out and no one in Oklahoma City can put new ones on, but a dealership! For all 4 it's over $4000!! Since they are out, the abs traction control don't work, and I won't put that much money in it now, dealerships now will only give me$1000 as a trade in! Car was originally $50,000! Too bad that it is so expensive to work on!"

Pros: "Worth every penny spent"

Cons: "Rear wheel drive and uses premium gas"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I recently totaled my Infiniti Q45t striking a large deer on a wintry Wisconsin road .It had been my fathers who passed away 7 years ago.He had been a frugal man and only took the plunge to buy a luxury car in his 70's . The car ran like a much newer vehicle and had 264 ,500 miles on it .I am so certain that it would have passed 300,000 miles that I had just replaced the battery and tires .I was fortunate to have a great mechanic who of course kept the price of repairs less than at a dealer I suspect. The Bose speakers and sound system were great . The car was quick and agile yet with a very solid feel . Importantly the hood crumpled in a manner I suspect which prevented a far worse disastrous outcome and the ABS system kept me in my lane and relatively out of harms way ."

"I have looked at a midnight blue 1997 Infiniti Q45 and it is one of the best looking bigger cars that I like the most out of Cadillacs and other big cars like this. Nice car and this is what it kind of looks like."

Pros: "Amazing ride, amazing comfort, not even bad on gas"

Cons: "Price for parts is ridiculously high"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This is one of my favorite cars in my collection. I've been able to squeeze out almost 26mpg on the highway, sticking with cruise control. The ride is very comfortable. The only thing I can complain about are the coil packs. Once one decides to mess up, it's time to replace them all. At $100 a piece, it can add up. Parts for this car are not cheap, in any sense. Other than that, this is a fabulous car, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for affordable luxury."
