"After 20 years I'm having a hard time to replace this car. Drove many 2012-2014 cars that don.t impress me given the q is twenty year of wear and still rides and drives as good and sometimes better. My replace it with the new C 400 this fall if it is as good...."

"I am the second owner of this car. I bought this car with 65K miles on it and currently has 136K miles. I'm very satified with the performance of this vehicle. It has a V-8 engine, japanese made and very comfortable to drive and rides smooth. A luxury car, well maintained with 4 brand new michellin tires."

Pros: "Ride, Performance quiet."

Cons: "no cup holder"

"I bought this car from an auction with 73000 miles on it. The first owner always kept it garaged. This is my 3rd Q and the first one with active suspension I have owned. This car is a dream to drive on city streets and on the highway it is a rocket with excellent gas mileage. The handling is superior with the active suspension and holds the road very nicely and handles corners perfectly. This car is very well put together and you can tell the engineers spent a lot of time designing this cruiser. If it had a cup holder built in it would be perfect!"

"i just bought this car 3 weeks ago.....the only problems I have had from this car is that the alternator went out a week after i bought it, and the light on the for the display on the radio works intermittently but overall i love this car. It drives smooth and just seems to want to go. A very comfortable and smooth ride. I couldnt have purchased a better car despite the minor alternator problem."

Pros: "Fun to drive, pleanty of leg room in back, power, handling and breaking"

Cons: "Gas milage is poor. I do mostly around town but avg. only 14 MPG"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought my q used with about 80K miles on it. The car rides like a dream. Nice smooth ride yet sporty too. The car has lots of power, goes up hills and inclines like nothing. I did have toreplace tranny at about 115K miles. Other than that I like the car better than newer cars I have owned such as MBZ 320, BMW 535, Infiniti G35 and M35. Newer cars have cool tech features that this car does not but in terms of ride, power reliability this car beats them all hands down."

Pros: "It's an iNFINITI, lots of bang for your buck"

Cons: "It's an INIFINITI, and believe it or not... no cup holder"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Named her Susie Q. She comfortable to ride in Lots of head and leg room, front and back seats. Huge trunk. 4.5 litre V-8 puts out more than enough power, reliable old work horse. Driving at first is a handful, powerful, big, and weighs in around two tons. (front right fender were bumper meets fender...usually has damage). Climate control display burns out, door windows have regulator issues, only a problem if you like to rolldown your windows. Transmission plan on replacing every 100,000 miles. Replacement parts usually not stocked and have to be ordered, and can get pricey. Over all the Q45 is a great car. She 20 years old and will easily and comfortably cruse at 120/125mph NO PROBLEM! Traffic permitting. The average person looking at a 1990's Q45 will think it's much newer than it really is."
