Used Infiniti G Sedans

The 2012 Infiniti G sedan offers a new Malbec Black exterior color. The G37 sedan also receives various updates to its Limited and Sport Appearance editions, including a new graphite interior color, 18-inch alloy wheels and Black Obsidian exterior color for the Limited Edition and a new black grille for the Sport Appearance Edition.

For 2010, the G37 receives a new grille, front fascia (Base and Sport) and new 17-inch wheels. An eight-way power passenger seat is now standard, as are one-touch up/down rear windows. The Journey trim gains a backup camera, heated seats and heated outside mirrors, while the available navigation system now offers Spanish language support for voice commands and displays. Last year's Active Steering option is no longer available.

A larger and more powerful V6 engine prompts a change in both the G's name and attitude. Along with the bump in power, the G37 now features a seven-speed automatic transmission (a six-speed manual is still available on the Sport model), Scratch Shield self-healing clearcoat paint and newly designed 18-inch wheels.

For the first time, the Sport Package is now available on the all-wheel-drive G35x model, as is an 18-inch wheel and tire upgrade. XM Satellite Radio becomes standard, the RearView Monitor moves from the Technology Package to the Navigation Package and a dedicated iPod interface joins the options roster.

Infiniti, Nissan's luxury arm, competes directly with Toyota's Lexus and Honda's Acura, and indirectly with Cadillac, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Thanks to recent bolder styling and across-the-board rear- and all-wheel drive, Infiniti has succeeded in distancing itself from parent Nissan and positioning itself as a serious player in that aspirational group. This excellent new G35, cleverly contented and strategically sized between BMW's compact 3 Series and mid-range 5 Series, is Infiniti's most affordable car and its volume leader.
