Most observers agree that BMW is the industry benchmark for truly sporting sedans, and that BMW's 3 Series is the best of the best among the semi-affordable. But not everyone with sport sedan aspirations wants or can find the budget for such a pricey German car. Many buyers would prefer a domestic or Japanese equivalent, if such an alternative were available, and many manufacturers targeting BMW have come tantalizingly close to delivering that alternative. This new Infiniti G35 may be the closest yet to hitting that elusive target.

"I own a 07 G sedan and it is truly a pleasure to drive! I have not had any problems whatsoerver. The only complaint I have is I wish it had more cargo volume! This vehicle has awesome power and torque! One comparison for you guys 2007 Infinity G sedan 307hp ... 1997 thru 1999 Ford mustang COBRA V8 32 valve double overhead cam 305hp anything else to say! Mustang 9.00 1/8th mile Infinity 8.80 1/8th mile (did I mention the infinity is a naturally aspirated v6 with a 7800 rpm redline) Thanks"

"I've owned a Maxima GLE, 350Z, Mustang GT and now the Infiniti G37. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned... or even driven. While looking to upgrade from my 350z, I drove the BMW 328, Lexus IS and Mercedes C300. I happened upon the G37 and immediately fell for it. Pure driving pleasure. Infiniti service is great. Completely affordable in this class of cars. I've had it for 3 years and will likely have it for several more. Can't say enough good things about the G7's performance, reliability, and of course it's fabulous looks."

Pros: "handling and power with great gas mileage for the power."
Cons: "window washer was weak on the drivers side...they replaced."

"This car is still exciting to drive ....after owing it for 3 years! I drove an Acura, Cadillac CTS (2007 years for all vehicles)...and then this...SOLD! I will probably never buy another car other than an Infinity."
