"This car has a lot of value to me. The initial price followed by maintenance costs. I have all the maintenance records to prove this. I just wish they were still being manufactured. Certainly can't recommend the car since they are no longer produced. i am going to buy a new car soon because I just want a new car - not because this car has lost its value to me."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 160,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "No matter the weather, it will start!"
Cons: "Always give the gas cap 4/5 clicks."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"Been the proud owner of many fine vehicles. Lincoln Town Car, Jaguar Vanden Plas, VW Beetle, SMART, and Citroen. All had their good points, but overall this 350 was the best driving and most comfortable of the lot. Definitely the most reliable. A dependable car like a dependable friend, is hard to find. If you have a 350 keep it! If not, find one!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 82,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "fast & peppy, a speedwagon"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I'm the original owner and bought the fully loaded version because I like comfort and luxury. I would have designed the interior a little differently; for instance, the digital clock is hard to read through sunglasses (a necessity in Florida!) and I miss the compass display I had in my other car. The car is very reliable - I haven't had a single major mechanical problem in all the years I've owned it, although I've had to replace the battery three times in seven years. I plan to own the car for at least three more years, and describe it to my friends as my Korean Cadillac."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 103,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "No headaches, safe to drive"
Cons: "None"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I love this car and wish I could keep it forever! I plan on driving it until it won't drive anymore and I expect that to be a very long time! In the past 7 years, other than normal maintenance, I have put on 2 sets of tires, bought 2 batteries, and replaced one wheel bearing. That's it! Nothing else! The car still runs like it's brand new! I get close to 30 mpg on the highway and 25 in town. I hope it's performance doesn't decline now that I've passed the 100,000 mark, but even if it does I have definitely gotten my money's worth out of it!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 119,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Extremely smooth ride; fantastic interior trim;"
Cons: "CD player issues"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I bought this car new in 2004. I have driven it 119,000 miles since and I must say it has been the most reliable, great car I have ever owned. Over the years, I have driven 7 other cars, mostly GM and Jeep. This XG has only seen the dealership for routine maintenance. It has NEVER had any problems or issues except for the CD player. When the car had about 50,000 miles on it, the CD player started acting up and would not eject the CD's. Warrantly only covered the radio up to 36,000 so I decided not to fix it. After about 10,000 miles I tried the CD player again and it started working fine. The ride is the best I have ever experienced. Going over bumps feels like gliding on air. I was going to trade this car in on a new Sonata a few years ago but even the salesman at the dealership mentioned to me that the ride on the Sonata was not going to be the same as on my XG. The XG drivetrain and suspension was one of the best Hyundai ever made. So needless to say I am still driving the XG. Highly recommend the car to others. Too bad Hyundai is not building this car any more."
