If you want a small car that's huge on style and fun to drive, yet also fuel-efficient and won't cost a fortune to buy, the Veloster should be on your short list. In Turbo form, the car has the power
If you need to carry more than three other people or regularly plan to put passengers in the rear, the Veloster's seating can pose a challenge. In regards to style, the Veloster's character is young a
Driving a Veloster is like a tale of two cars, depending upon which engine is under the hood. In standard versions, the car's acceleration and passing power are just adequate. The Veloster Turbo, on the other hand, is a real hoot. And, even with 201 horsepower from its little 4-cylinder engine going to the front wheels, torque steer is not a problem. "I've had the car for a little over a month and have been very satisfied. The car is exceptionally well-equipped for what I paid, and I love the ride and handling; the 138 hp 1.6L worried me prior to buying as to how it would perform, but I have been pleasantly surprised. Paired with the six speed manual, the car performs well for an efficiency-aimed hatchback. I drive mostly highway, and have averaged a combined 40.6 mpg per tank over the last 3000 miles"

"I was Interested in the Veloster since first seeing the pics at 2011 car shows. I drove both the Turbo and non-turbo, in DCT, Manual 6spd and Automatic. The non-turbo 6spd manual hit the spot for me. The Turbo wasnt fast enough to garner the Turbo moniker and i see as the least desirable 'sporty hatch' in the market. The Eco-Sport Veloster, on the other hand, is tops in the 1.6L arena, non-hybrid vehicles. It isnt the fastest but 8.5 is pletny quick and it handles great. I have been averaging 30 mpg mixed driving on the botton as well."
