"Car has lots of blinds spots. I had an explorer - and it was great but I wanted better mileage - but this car has horrible blind spots. I always feel like I am one lane change away from a crash - I have been driving it for 2 years and it hasn't gotten better as I have gotten used to the car. The eco function is a joke I get better mileage when I don't use it. When you do use it - what you get is really really poor acceleration. The brake system is grabby - you get nothing unless you really get on them - then they grab - and the car has preformed like this since I got it - over all it's just a cheaply made car. I can't wait to get something else."
"I got my GLS in June 2010, so it's 5 y/o now & just broke 47k miles...yeah, I don't do cross-country journeys. I'll have it paid off this time next year, IF I don't trade it in for perhaps a Mazda CX-5. Anywho, overall, it's been sound/reliable. IMHO, these features, in order of priority, could use improvements: driver seat comfort; cabin noise; fuel economy. I don't mind being stuck in traffic as long as the seat is comfortable; no lumbar support in this one...only in the Limited trim. The specs on the 2015 trims show better fuel economy, but I'm still curious about the cabin noise."
"I like most everything about it except it does not have the power of my 2010 Tucson. My 2014 labors on slight hills. You can feel it laboring. The backup camera does not beep when getting close to something.
It is the perfect size for me. Lots of cargo room. Comfortable seats. Nice color interior. Overall I like it except for the lack of power on hills."
"This is the first SUV I've owned. For the most part I love it. We bought it in September and after one horrific winter it goes pretty well in the snow. We love the dual temperature settings as I'm a freeze baby and my husband is my portable personal space heater. The gas mileage...AMAZING! It has an eco mode which we drive in most of the time. I can get to work and back one a tank of gas for about a week and a half. We get around 34 mpg but have gotten a little higher. Now, my complaints. The Bluetooth works pretty well once it connects. However, sometimes getting it to actually dial via voice command is very, very frustrating. I listen to audiobooks at work and I love that it has a port that I can connect my iPad to in order to continue listening. Also, the ride is not very comfy. The driver side has a lever that give the seat some extra lower back support. The passenger seat does not. I expected it for an SUV, but the ride is rough. The ride while sitting in the back seat is even rougher. I don't know that I'd want to ride in it for a long trip."
