Pros: "Inexpensive, very reliable, great gas mileage"

Cons: "Not much power, replace timing belt every 60,000"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Reliable, fun to drive, sharp looking, outstanding gas mileage. The timing belt has to be changed every 60,000 miles, the 4 cylinder engine is little more than adequate, after 9 years a spot of rust appeared in the wheel well and a little water somehow gets into the spare tire compartment."

Pros: "runs like new, cheap to maintain, head turner"

Cons: "cop magnet"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Bought new in 2006, got a great deal as it was on the lot for almost a year. (no one wanted lemon yellow). Car still drives like new with regular maintenance, and replaced engine mounts which had worn out due to aggressive driving. only complaint is the rot under edge of front hood (probably from the bra). Car runs and looks new, is worth way more than KBB value."

Pros: "Quality, responsiveness, soundness"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I had the Tiburon GT V6 6 speed for 8 years. Never cost me a dime other than the usual (tires and oil changes). And its not like it was babied, driven like it was stolen quite often. Unfortunately I rear ended somebody last week and totalled it. I have no doubts that this car would have ran for at least another 100,000 km virtually maintenance free. Amazing, sporty, well built little car. RIP Ruby."

Pros: "Reliability, fun, interior and exterior design"

Cons: "Best for 5'11" and under. Subpar gas mileage."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Best car I've ever owned (22 years of driving). Not only is it a fun car to drive (as long as you're small enough to be comfortable in it), but through 141,000 miles I've had little-to-no trouble with it and it's still running great. I hope to keep it another 2-3 years, at least. The most serious surprise servicing I've had done is to replace a faulty fuel sensor at about 80,000 miles. Other than that, just normal wear-and-tear replacement parts like brake rotors and such."

Pros: "Performs and looks like a sportscar 4 Xs its cost"

Cons: "Original clutch system only negative"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"The tiburon is a gem. Handles like a true sports car. Quick, stable, marvelous in turns. 6 speed transmission is really tough and solid. Very comfortable, I am 6'3' and have plenty of room. It looks very much like a Ferrari 456 GT and it is as close to a really good sports car as you can get without spending tens of thousands. It is an outstanding car. Reliable, durable, and stylish."
