"Owned one since 2001. Great gas mileage. No unreasonable repairs. No oil use between oil changes even after 130,000 miles. Performs as well as the Alfa Romero Spyder I owned (but without all the repair issues that the Spyder had). Comfortable once you get in but one can feel the tar lines in the road. The price paid for the sports car feel. Great fun car that gets great gas mileage and is easy on the wallet."
"I have a 00 Tiburon and have never had any problems with it in 4 years. It just reached 150000 last week. Its a reliable, great on gas little car. It handles good and has a good factory stereo in it. My only problem is its sooooo small!! I'm ready to get an suv!"
"I bought this 2001 when it was 2 years old. It has been very fun to drive. I downgraded quality because there are some finishing issues. For example, everything on the inside is plastic and the plastic gets brittle. So the circle in the center of my gear shifter is chipped in ten different places. The chips just happen - I have not been particularly hard on the car. When the car was still under warranty, they replaced both side panels because they were plastic and had stress cracks on them. Otherwise, it is really fun to drive, tight on corners and still feels great. It is the only car I have ever owned where I have no desire to look for another/better car. I'll drive it until it falls apart."
