1999 Hyundai Sonata

This is by far the best vehicle I've ever owned.

"I have owned my Sonata for 6 years now, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I will definately invest in another Hyundai when I buy another car. I literally ran the engine with very little oil (accidentally) and placed some synthetic oil in, and within minutes the engine was quiet once again. I have maintained the oil in it since then, but as long as I have the regular maintenance in it, it's good on gas, it's quiet, and it's also a classy looking car. I highly recommend this car, and will keep it for a while. I love the new Sonata's but I still love my old one."

I LOVE this car.

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 100,900

Pros: "Great visibility, quiet, excellent in snow and ice"

Cons: "When one headlight burns out, both need replacemnt"

"I could not be happier with this car. Purchased new in early 2004, it has reliably gotten me wherever I've needed to go ever since. Only one minor repair needed in 9 years, so beyond routine maintenance, tires and gas, I've spent less than $100 on it. I love the comfortable, quiet drive, and absolute solid performance, both up and down hills, when it snows. So though the newer models look pretty snazzy, I'm going to stick with this one for hopefully another 9 years."

Why pay more for less car

Pros: "Reliability, Cost, low Maintance, nice ride"

Cons: "Name, but that is changing now adays"

"I had owned 2 used Toyota Camrys' prior to purchasing this vehicle brand new. I could not afford a new Camry at the time, and I am so glad I made the decision to go new. In 9 years and 100K miles I have spent only $4.37 on Maintance on this vehicle above suggest maintance costs. This was for a busted hose. In the 60K-100K milage range on the Camrys' I was spending $1500 a year to keep those cars running great. I was going to trade this car in as my son is turning 16 next month, but my son asked for this car and my wife believe it is safer than anything we can for him at this price range."

Love this car.

"Bought it new. I expect at least another 3 yrs. of great car. Will miss this model very much... No blind spots, easy handling, good gas mileage, STILL, large trunk. Yes I will miss my car...."

Best car I ever owned

"My 05 Sonata is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. It was the last year that a V6 was made. This car is quick easy on gas, comfortable. I bought this car new and have only done routine maint. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. NO mechanical problems"

Fabulous Car

"I love this car. It has a smooth ride and I have not had one bit of trouble out of it. Even though it's an older car, I am so proud of the design because I think it's the prettiest car on the road. It has every option that was available at that time. It is dependable in every way. The only issue I've had is a flat tire."
