"With a minimum of maintenance, this car has been very reliable and easy and fun to drive. We've taken long trips with it and have been comfortable with plenty of room for the two of us and the dog. The only items that have we've had to replace is the timing belt which we've changed every 60,000 miles. Overall MPG is around 25-27."
Cons: "Gas mileage for this car should be at least 26 hwy"

"I bought this from a friend in 2010. Have not regreted it one bit. I had to buy this car because my much beloved Mitsubishi Galant (more on that one later) was totaled buy a deer. The 3.5L 6Cyl will stand up on its rear wheels!
Gas mileage for this small (compared to todays)Sante Fe is only 24mpg and 25mpg on a good day. The Auto AC settings only work on the floor not in the panel where it should be. Once you set it, it maintains temp pretty good."
"Immaculately maintained, single owner. All records retained. This dependable car will remain in peak condition with continued attention to maintenance. It is extremely sure-footed and has new tires as of October. Service within the last year includes: rear calipers, rotors, and new brakes, front suspension balljoints and alignment, and suspension control front arm."
Cons: "Passenger and driver door handles snapped off."

"I bought this 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe in 2011. When I purchased the vehicle it had 180,000 miles on it. I traveled 1800 miles to another state, no problem. I have had the oil changed consistently. Yes, I have had problems. But, 220,000 miles on the original engine? Awesome!! Love this vehicle and still got it. That's what's up!!!"
