"I am shocked at how roomy this car is and even more amazed at how well it rides and handles. While all small cars typically have road noise, the Elantra has far less than my old Corolla and the ride feels much more secure. The list of options on even the GLS model are extensive and impressive. This is my first even Hyundai and so far, I am completely blown away by the overall quality and efficiency of this car."
"We have owned this car for 2 years. We put about 13,000 miles a year on it and get the oil changed as required for the mileage. The car had an issue with the transmission at 20,000 miles but it was corrected by the Dealer. Yeah. Now it has a knocking sound when you change gears or accelerate sometimes. We will be going back to the dealer today to test how good Hyundai's Warranty is. It's the craziest knock or gear click I have ever heard. The other pet peeve is the tan cloth interior is very hard to clean. It's been a good car but we will see what the knocking noise is all about."
Pros: "Great value, best warranty around, fun to drive"
Cons: "Can't think of any"

"This is the first new car I've purchased since 1986. I drive my cars into the ground, and I hope to get at least 10 years and 200K miles out of this Elantra.
So far, so good. It's comfortable, quiet on the road, and a pleasure to drive. I've got a couple of nitpicks, and that's all. First one: Why doesn't it have an audible alarm when you leave the lights on and take the key out? I thought every car in the world had that. My second nitpick was more about the dealer than the vehicle. We got all done with the salesman, agreed on the price and the trade value, and walk into the other office and he jumps right into selling the service contract with no warning. Fundamentally, I may never go back to this dealer because of it."
