Very reliable, good gas mileage

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 70,000

Pros: "Reliability"

Cons: "Road niose"

"This 2001 Elantra has been a very good vehicle. It has needed no costly repairs and has required only basic maintenance. Its body integrity is very good, paint job still looks great. Its a fine drive-around-town car since it gets good gas mileage. Its only downside is that, like many compact cars,road noise is fairly high, which can be slightly annoying on long trips. It handles pretty well for a compact car. It has dealt with lots of big urban pot holes without needing frequent wheel realignments, so the suspension system has been pretty sturdy. Overall, this vehicle has been a very good value."

Love my baby!!!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 180,000

Pros: "Great value, easy to repair."

Cons: "can only haul 2 kids"

"I purchased brand new and was well worth it. Now 180K miles and still going strong. I have had to do very few repairs (CV axels, timing belt & radiator) and everything is easy enough to do myself. Have even been hit twice and very little damage to the car. It's a little beast!"

Great fun car

Pros: "mpg, relability, fun, easy to drive/park"

Cons: "interior is boring, Window switch broke"

"I have owned this car for 5 months, It runs great, allays starts right up, very good on gas, quick when it needs to be, lightweight, so many things you can do to it."

Not that good.

Cons: "Noisy, No pick up, lots of problems."

"Bought it for 2200 and it lasted 6 months. The money it would of cost to fix was worth more than the car itself."
