If your limited budget has you thinking "used car," you might be pleasantly surprised at just how much new car the 2013 Hyundai Accent can get you for around $15,000.
While the 2013 Accent is a lot of Hyundai for the money, a little more money tossed at a Honda Fit, Nissan Versa or Ford Fiesta will get you more features such as onboard navigation, push-button start
During our time in the 2013 Accent, our driving route including a good mix of highway and rural roads. To our surprise and delight, the Accent's onboard fuel-economy indicator rarely dipped below 40 mpg. Even in around town touring, we regularly saw fuel economy in the 30-to-34-mpg range. The Accent's fuel-sipping engine isn't shy when it comes to delivering power, however, and it does so without much fuss or commotion. While we found little to like about the Accent's rubbery feeling manual transmission, its 6-speed automatic qu

"I was really surprised when the dealership said I could afford it. Gas is AMAZING, 30$ to fill it and I get about 300-400 miles off a full tank. Im 21 years old and this car is absolutely my favorite. The radio set up allows me to control my phone with out having to touch my phone! So quite inside. oh and it handles very well in accidents. I plan on keeping this car till it can no longer run and then I will buy another one!!!!!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 35,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Good economy, good room for such a small car"
Cons: "Begs for a performance version"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8
"It is a very good-value little car. The technology is superb. Fuel economy is good, although for being such a small car maybe could be a little better. We have an automatic; a manual would probably be better performance and slightly better fuel economy-wise. Hyundai is doing a great job and this car attests to that. Time will tell if these cars fare as well in older age and high mileage as say a Honda, Toyota, or Mazda, but in the early stages appear on par with the other high-reliability, high-efficiency autos."
