"This car is meant for a first time car buyer or for a person who can not afford any thing else . The car drives well and it does not give many problems . for only $2000 more I should have bought the elantra."

Pros: "Good fuel economy, fits in small parking spots."

Cons: "Tiny fuel tank, under powered."

"A nice little car that offers good good fuel economy, the fit and finish are ok for a car of this value. Mechanically the engine is fine but watch out for those coil packs, everything was fine until year 4 than they all went within 6 months (here is where the great warranty earns it's keep) didn't pay a dime. The starter was also replaced for free at 45k miles as was the broken driver door latch. Routine maintenance (oil, brakes, tires) on this car has been inexpensive."

My "Jellybean"

"I got this car used as a first car. I LOVE it! The MPG is awesome, it drives great, I have only had a few minor problems with it but they're things that every car will have to deal with (i.e. spark plugs, battery, etc). I did have to replace 2 cylinders in the motor over the years but still, a simple DIY fix. Great price, great value. The only reason I'd ever get rid of it is to get a bigger vehicle when my husband and I decide to expand our family."

Pros: "Price, warranty, milage"

Cons: "probably not comfortable for drivers over 5'10""

"I've been buying Hyundai vehicles since 1992, mostly the Accent. I drive 80 miles a day to and from work and this particular one is the best yet. I've hit 4 deer with it and have yet to break a headlight, traveled through 2 feet of snow for 20 miles (November Lake Effect south of Buffalo NY 2014)and nothing has stopped this little vehicle. I've followed all maintenance (more or less) and the car just keeps going. Shows it's age and the toll of 121,00 miles with rust starting to appear, but it is expected with the brutal winters here in Western New York. I have passed SUVs stuck in snow and had the opportunity to pull a Ford Taurus out of a snow bank. Given the 5 speed manual and snow tires all around it is all but unstoppable. Best vehicle for the money!"

Pros: "excellent price, good gas mileage, low maintenance"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"The car was very dependable, handled well, good gas mileage, few repairs ever needed, and actually had quite a bit of pep going up hills and accelerating. The car's design was rather generic, and because I'm a smaller person, I was comfortable driving it. If I had other people in the car that were taller or larger than I, they were not as comfortable."

Pros: "Gas efficient, great space, compact, easy to drive"

Cons: "No space for back seat passengers"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I got my Accent when I just graduated high school. It was a 2007, and I got it in 2008. I loved my Accent because for a fresh new college student, gas was very affordable and the car was very easy to use and drive. I could take it from my city to another 2 1/2 hours away and only fill up once I got there. It was perfect for parking that, in most cities, are so small average cars now can't fit, but mine can fit anywhere. Parallel parking couldn't be made any easier. It's pastel lime green color always made it easy for me to find in a crowd. The hatch was awesome for just the amount of space needed for a young adult who just wants to have anything from gym stuff, to groceries, to bags for a weekend away. I love this car, but I realized being almost 26 now, and my job requiring me to have more space for passengers for trips, that I need to part ways with my little jelly bean car and get a 4 door styled car. Hyundai 's are amazing vehicles and last forever if you take good care of them. I'm definitely sticking with this brand of car always."
