"First, the warranty makes this car more valuable than most in the market. Second, I have NEVER, I repeat, NEVER had a failure that was not covrered under warranty and the failure that did occur was minimal."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 20,200
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "It's a great car at a reasonable price."
Cons: "Paint job scratches easily, maybe just badluck ."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This is a fantastic car for the price. Maybe not the best car for those who stay on the go and frequent long distances. Don't get me wrong, this car can handle anything, even, excess snow from where I used to live. I mainly drive in the city and the car handles like a champ. I've noticed a slight sluggish feel on the highway at times, but overall it still handles quite well. I highly recommend this car and I love it. By the way, this is actually my third Hyundai, so I'm definitely satisfied."

"Have owned this (brand new) since Halloween of 2002. Other than typical maintenance (oil, air, brakes), I had to get the transmission and motor mounts replaced at 125k. This thing is unbelievably durable, and highly reccomended."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 120,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Great millage, dependable, basic car."
Cons: "Noise level when on hwy."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have had such a good experience with this car that I will buy another when this one dies. Last summer on a long hwy trip I got 38-40 MPG driving 60 mph all the way. YeaaaHA! I was thrilled about that. The only drawback in the whole car is the hwy noise level is a little louder than a more expensive car."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 120,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "great price, holds a lot of stuff"
Cons: "small, doesn't hold infant careseats very well"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I have had my Hyundai Accent for 8 years now, it got me through high school and college, and it has continued to be a trustworthy and dependable vehicle. I have not had any major issues with the car, other than the normal wear which I make sure gets straightened out and tuned up every time it is supposed to get serviced. It runs great, is comfortable and very convienent, and despite its small size I have been able to fit an entire drum kit as well as multiple boxes when moving."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 234,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fun to drive, great on gas"
Cons: "See above"

"With just normal wear and tear, tires, brakes, I have had little mechanical problems with my 2004 Accent. The clutch finally wore out at 233, 900 miles. I still average 35mpg. The style is still very acceptable. My only real problem was with the paint. Since I drove long distances on the highway, the paint on the front of the car started to pit and chip. Solved the problem and added to the lookmofmthe car with a front end cover, a bra so to speak. Oh, and have yet to get a tune up, other than changing the spark plugs at 100,000 and 200,000 miles. Not because they needed it, just because."
