"Purchased this car in'06 for $300 needing a clutch, it had 128k miles on it. Drove it a little over 2 years, and in that time I think I put some tires on it. Then I let a friend borrow it, and he ended up buying it from me, yet somehow I was the one who kept up on the maintenance. Not that there was a lot to do, I mean that 'lil thing just starts up every time. We would always joke about how the car will rot away around the engine, and trans it's just that reliable. In 2012 I bought it back, and currently still driving it a little over 9 years since buying it, and still going strong. The total amount of $ spent on parts, and repairs is negligible, aside from routine oil changes I have had to weld up the exhaust 3 times, and replaced the rear struts, and a bushing that fell of the rear sway bar, that's it. Still on the same battery, same breaks, same replaceable electrical parts, and best of all (this is for all you accent owners out there) I figured out why the dang windows are so hard to roll up, and I'm going to give you the solution 'cause I just like all of you so much%). O.K. the weather stripping on the inside of the door is pressed to firmly against the window. So what you want to do is roll down the window and grab hold of the stripping, and pull it away from window. You might have to repeat a couple three times before it takes, but it will eventually free up permanently. Sadly you'll no longer get your daily workout, but being able to quickly, and easily roll up the windows is something taken for granted before owning one of these. If you have read this, and followed my instructions I know you are thanking me, so I say you are welcome, glad I could help, sincerely N."
