"Love love to drive it Extremely reliable but very small car unless you little people ,you may want reconsider ,there's reason a hot ,reliable ,car of year ,did not sell in US ,because we are bigger than it was designed for ..with all negatives I would still keep it if it was my third car just don't have that much garage space .."

Pros: "Great price, value, style, feel and spirit 8300rpm"

Cons: "None"

"Stock it is a naturally aspirated mid engine sports car experience. But its great car to tune the f22c engine can take higher horsepower and not lose alot of reliability. Im 6 feet 2 inches tall and it feels like a glove feels like an f1 car but with great Japanese ergonomics. No other car beats it in the class. If you are worried about the torque just add a kraftwerks super charger and you should be able to smoke any fool on the road."

"I purchased the S2000 new in 2004. I store it in the winter, so Spring can never come soon enough. I love the look of the car and it is a blast to drive. Have not had to do anything other than tires and oil changes so far. I'm told it will need brakes in the near future. It is 10 years old but is as solid as it was new, and rides and handles great. It also seems that after 10 years of ownership, it is starting to inch up in value. Love it !!!"

"I bought my car back in 2005 in the States and brought it with me to Korea. S2000 is the most fun car to drive. I would def keep this car as my second car."

Pros: "BLAST to drive. It loves high speed corners!"

Cons: "Low front clearance, stock stereo lacks power"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"This car is everything you want if you are looking for a small sporty reliable roadster. Cheaper than a BMW or Boxer and way better than the Scion BRZ. Top is always down when its above 55 and below 95. 0-60 in under 6secs. 1/4 mile is low to mid 14 seconds. Quick, Nimble, Sporty and a looker. Get compliments on the car all of the time. Quotes from my friends that have been for a ride. "So much FUN!!!!!" "Freakin bad" "Exciting and scary" Everyone underestimates this cars performance and pureness. People think they are going for a ride in a little Honda and then BAM! They are thrown back in their seats and reaching for the door handle to brace themselves because they think you might rear end someone or go sliding across the street when going around a corner. This is always followed by smiles and laughter because they weren't expecting to go around a corner that fast and not even hear the tires or feel any signs that the car even blinked. I tell everyone this, but this car is essentially a Go-Kart on steroids... Hugs the road like none other. I didn't know what turn in felt like until I got this car, but this car is set up perfectly! The car dives into corners like it wants more. I can literally take my hands off the wheel on a long slightly banked corner because the turn in is so perfect and it tracks so well. Probably one of the weirdest experiences I have had in my 11 years of driving. The drivetrain is very strong. I did some thrashing on it and it holds together like a true track car. The car actually drives, shifts and acts totally different for the better, once you get it warmed up. It was made to be driven hard and you can tell because shifting gears before the car has warmed up all the way always feels a little stiff and jerky. 65mph to 100mph happens with only 4,000 rpms split between two gears . 6,000-8,000 in 3rd and 6,000-8,000 in forth. Dont buy if you cant afford a GOOOD set of tires! I recommend Michelin Pilot Sports! Pretty much a bullet proof design, and that is not just me saying that. THEY HOLD THEIR VALUE!! After only 7 months of owning this car, I now owe less than what it is worth. Cons: The tops are known to not last more than 5-7yrs before you get a tear. I reinforced my top from the inside with fabric and flexible adhesive once I spotted day light and its been great for almost a year now. Top up and down daily. Don't buy if over 6'2". I am 6'1" and it just so happens that you cant see the stop lights when you are the first one at the light. Plus any taller and it wouldnt be fun. I fit perfectly, even with my cowboy boots on. If youre looking to buy an S2000. Check the master clutch cylinder and clutch fluid. If its dirty its starting to go. Check the top for any wear marks or small tears, talk the person down as a top is a few thousand to fix. Check for modifications done to the car! I recommend an aligment check ASAP as I ate through the tires that came on it in a couple of months. The tow angle on S2000 always goes negative over time and EATS the tires and they aren't cheap! The car still tracked and drove dead straight so I didnt notice until the inside steel was starting to show. Only repair has been the master clutch cylinder. They ALL leak after about 5 years from those countless shifts that come with a close ration 6speed. All of the S2000's have this issue. Cheap fix though."
