If you need a vehicle that provides 8-passenger capacity but are dead set against driving a minivan, the 2012 Honda Pilot makes an excellent alternative. Strong, safe and easy to drive, the Pilot SUV
Honda has a bad habit of bundling popular options by trim alone. If you're someone who thinks you shouldn't have to move to the highest trim level just to get navigation or a power liftgate, there are
Despite its size, the 2012 Honda Pilot SUV rides and drives very much like a large car. The firm suspension limits body roll, squat, and dive, yet is not so firm as to punish its passengers with every passing pothole or road distortion. We found the Pilot's steering a bit heavily weighted, but it is very precise and offers good feedback in the turns. "The Pilot is the best car I have owned being close to my 2000 Pathfinder. It drives great and is very easy to tow the kids around...beats driving a minivan! The towing is okay with a boat meaning I would not travel long distance with my 20 ft bowrider. It's fine but not great on hills and such. OUr family loves this vehicle and always look forward to drive it. It's a long term keeper! Great value and does not depreciate like other competitors out there."

"The Honda Pilot is very fuel efficient. Looking to save gas on your road trips? This is the car for you. With a plethora of room in the back and very good fuel efficiency. This car gives you the real meaning of saving money. The best type to get is the EX-L with the RES because getting the touring would cost a little more but youre paying for some of the gadgets you dont need."
