"I travel and lived in much colder climates recently. After ten days of subfreezing weather, my Passport started first crank. I put very little money into this vehicle and it ALWAYS started first crank. The Isuzu engine in this thing is it's best attribute. It's not very comfortable and the gas mileage is horrible. I performed it's function well for fifteen years. Who can ask for more?"
Cons: "Small dent@ left rear tail light enclosure, new tai"

"This SUV has gotten me through the worst weather. It has had some minor issues but with over 200,000 miles on it, it is still going strong. It has been so reliable, it is the only car I have ever owned over 3 years."
Pros: "Dependable, great price, inexpensive maintenance"

"I have owned my 1996 Honda Passport since 2009 (Currently August 2014) so approximately five years. I have to say this is the first Honda automobile I have ever owned, and I have been very impressed, I have done all of the maintenance myself and in my opinion as long as you do regular maintenance you will not have any problems with this SUV. It does burn oil so you must check oil level often especially in the hot months and when driving long distances I always keep a few quarts in the rear cubbie hole. I like how easy you can fold down one or all of the back seats to load larger cargo. I use this vehicle as a work truck to tow a small utility trailer with no problems. I have almost 300,000 miles on mine and it continues to be one of the most dependable vehicles I have ever owned. I would highly recommend the 1995-1997 Honda Passport/Isuzu Rodeo to anyone in that market."
