"I had this car for 9 years. Bought it when it was 3 years old. Never left me stranded. Always started. THe back seat has great leg room for a small SUV. Very reliable and I still like the way it looks. GETTING A MINI-VAn cuz I need more passenger room."

"Having used this vehicle as a delivery vehicle, it has done fantastic...as long as the fluid levels are checked and replaced with original honda fluids availiable at dealers, or parts stores...this truck has great capabilities... only real problem was power steering pump..and alternator bracket bolt stripped..but it is now pushing 279,995 odometer..and still busting out strong... better than blazer or bronco... rural delivery in sometimes hazardous terrain...it has surpassed any company vehicle ive ever driven.. but..like any truck..it must be maintained properly.. you get out of it what you intend to put into it...thanks honda!!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 90,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "holds its price, great 4WD"
Cons: "2WD does awful in snow"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I bought this vehicle from someone who loved it, and as such, it is in beautiful condition. The low miles had me sold almost automatically, but the great gas mileage and all the extra room in the back was a great addition. I would say anyone should buy this car."

"This was purchased for me by family. I have had nothing but problems with it since I got it. It has been in for majors repairs several times a year. I can't wait to get rid of this car. I have sunk at least how much we paid for it into fixing it, if not much much more."

"I live where it snows, floods, land slides, quicksands, and generally gives your car a work over. Only really needs routine minor maintenance. My passport has needed intense maintenance only maybe 10 times in 12 years. Has never let me down and has saved my life. I have camped in it, crossed the country, driven to the highest and lowest points on the map in a 2,000 mile diameter and always been comfortable. It is all-around the most excellent car I've encountered. Driving through a 3 foot river before we are trapped in the back country: made it. Crossing the Mojave desert in a sand storm: made it. Spun out on black ice on the way into Yosemite Valley: made it. Climbing moon rock with 400 lbs of speaker equipment: made it. Hauling fire wood up a soggy hillside at the ranch: made it. Love this car."
