"I bought a '02 Honda Odyssey used in May '05 with only 23k miles. The tranmission blew out on me driving 70 mph on I-5 at only 42k miles. Honda treated me like gold and replaced it with a rebuilt transmission and reimbursed me for my rental car for 3 days. Overall, I love it and seats are very comfortable and roomy and I'm tall (6'8 and my wife is 6'3).
Just check out the Carfax report and make sure transmission is addressed before buying."
"Overall a good vehicle. Have driven it twice to Disney World (750 miles ea way) and it doesn't wear you out. Did have a main inner transmission seal blow around 60K miles. We had the extended warranty so Honda put a whole new transmission in. That's the only major problem. Adults that have ridden in the back seats going on 1hr drives to ballgames have commented to me on how smooth the ride is. Front and rear air work really well which is important down here in the South. They are expensive though and in demand so much that I wasn't able to negotiate far off the sticker price."
