I own this car - My approximate mileage is 210,000
overall rating 6 of 10rating detailsPros: "Good utility. Easy to work on."
Cons: "Unreliable, and uncomfortable to drive."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"Bought this car new for my wife. She has been very happy with it in that it provides good utility for a compact SU V. However, I am disappointed overall. It has required excessive maintenance and minor repair - it has nickel & dimed me to death. There are numerous minor electrical issues, none of which ever left my wife stranded, but some of which I just stopped bothering to repair. Interior & instrument lighting went bad within the first six months of ownership. Have never been able to use the power outlet for a phone charger - blows fuses constantly. Eats headlights for lunch. Seat belts never retracted properly, and inertial stops are fussy. Seat belt buckles have required replacement. The engine has consumed excessive oil since the car was new - Honda says this is normal. Seating is uncomfortable - compare to the unpadded bench seats at your local fast food restaurant. All of the above are indicative of poor engineering and materials quality. Overall, I would still say it has been a decent value, only because my wife likes it. But from the perspective of the guy who writes the checks spends his weekends keeping it in good repair, suffice to say that I'll never buy another Honda. Honda has done a terrific marketing job: The "legendary reliability" is all hype. I've owned many GM and Chrysler vehicles, and I won't ever again make the mistake of going Japanese."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 110,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Good all around car for its size and type."
Cons: "Roof rack is pretty mickey mouse."

"This is my second CR-V. The closest thing I've ever had by of a problem with it is an SRS light that came on intermittently, and which Honda fixed for nothing. It goes up the I-5 grades between Grapevine and Santa Clarita at 70 MPH with no trouble, is comfortable and easy to drive, is fairly quiet inside, and has plenty of room for four people. Although styling isn't a big deal with me, I like it's appearance better than tne new ones. Always dealer maintained (except I change the oil and filter myself every 5000 miles) and garaged. With over 100,000 miles on it, the interior still looks near new (with heavy duty rubber mats on the floor). Gas mileage about 24 in mixed city and freeway driving."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 150,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Reliable, comfortable, quiet, spacious"
Cons: "None"

"This is a car with perfect ergonomics, large cargo area, and lots of storage places. It is extremely reliable not having failed to start on the first try in nine years! Its all wheel drive system works flawlessly and had gotten me out of many jams. The handling is competent but not sporty. Acceleration is decent but not great. The interior is very roomy even in the back. The seats are firm but very comfortable. The ride is smooth, composed, and quiet."

"My husband and I have had our CRV since we leased it new just over 7 years ago. It has been a very good truck for us. We just now had our very fist major issue with it, and it is between 109,000 and 110,000 mileage, before the radiator went bad on it, and it over heated on us this past Sunday, which was the first time it had ever done that. I have owned both a Chevy and I VW and I can tell you that I didn't have either of them past a 100,000 miles, and I had allot of car issues with both the Chevy and VW. So I am very happy with my Honda, and I will continue to buy from Honda, because they provided us with a rental car while our truck was in the shop, and they have always been very good to us!"

"Got this car for my high schooler and she has put a few dents in it but it is a reliable car! Heats up pretty fast and gas mileage is great! The tank does take much to fill either! I would highly recommend this car for a teenager if you are looking for cars!"
