"I love my Honda! I've had it for the past 3 years, bought it used, and haven't had to do anything to it besides the typcical tire rotation and oil change. I couldn't ask for a better first car. It's sporty and comfortable and so many people tell me how much they love my car. It gets up and goes! definitely a Honda lifer, couldn't ask for a more safe and reliable car"
"I bought my Civic brand new in 2007. This was one of the best decision of my life. This car has been extraordinary reliable for more than 100k miles, with almost no trip to the dealership. A bit pricer than the competition, this car also has a better style and drive is more fun than."
"Bought this car used with 68k miles for $11K to drive to work. That was May 2014. Now it is Dec 2015 and the car has 95K miles.
Still runs like when I bought it and is great on gas. The EX model has a moon roof and the stock stereo sounds good and connects to a smartphone with a cable."
"We bought our 2010 Civic new and have been using it for a little over five years. The driving experience is what you'd expect from a Civic - adequate power when needed, easy to maneuver. Only routine maintenance has been needed so far. The road noise/vibrations are pretty similar for other cars this size. In general, very similar our older 2003 Civic that we enjoyed.
However... the interior on the 2010 is terrible. After only five years, so many plastic pieces have failed. The driver's side sun shade fell apart (it won't stay in the up position). The plastic piece on the side/back of the driver's side seat is falling off/separating from the seat. We're a two-adult family, and the car is used as a basic daily commuter. It seems crazy that things should be falling apart with normal use. Meanwhile, the interior of our much older 2003 is in great shape.
The corners of the front bumper also pop out from time to time. Reaching down to slap the corner of the bumper back into place is, unfortunately, a normal part of getting in and out of the car."
"This is the first "nice" car I've ever owned, bought it right out of college. Just paid it off. In the last 5 years I have had NO mechanical issues. I replaced the tires once, regular oil changes, replaced the battery once. It has a few dings and scrapes from parking and potholes, but overall it's handled whatever the weather gave me very well - including Chicago winters. Extremely reliable. I am planning on driving this beauty for at least another 10 years with regular maintenance. Very happy with my purchase overall. I would say that the speakers aren't the best - blew them out a few years back - still work just not the same; and that it seems noisy from the wind when driving on the highway."
