"No service issues other than regular maintenance. Always starts, solid in difficult weather, tracks well in snow. Heat and air conditioning provide for all comfort needs. Gas mileage is as stated...36 highway if you do the speed limit."

Great little car for everyday commute.

Pros: "Nice looking and drives very well."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seats for long drives."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"This vehicle rides and handles very well. I drive 80 miles to and from work and the fuel mileage is a little better than average for a small vehicle. The only negative about it is, the seats are very uncomfortable when driving more than an hour at a time. I'm looking for a replacement for these seats because I have to drive it a very long distance in a couple months. Maybe I'll use a pillow."

"Bought new to be a reliable daily driver. Was chosen over comparable models from other manufacturers. Ultimately decided on the Civic because of it's long term cost savings and superior fit and finish when compared to the Corolla and Fusion at the time. Only real repair bills have been in the form of a new AC unit in the dash and Nav system. Both pricey, Nav system was not totally broken, but I wanted it 100%. Hate the leather - but that is just a personal thing. They started using substantially higher quality leather after '09, so it could be avoided with later years. Otherwise never have had a reliability issue. Get roughly 50K miles from the tires and return ~32-35mpg with varied driving. Would buy again in a heart beat."

Very good, dependable stylish car.

Pros: "Very dependaple, stylish and a lot of fun to drive"

Cons: "Leather seats and center console wore quickly"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Bought this as a commuter car. Drove 120 miles daily to work and back. I haven't had any mechanical problems with this car and have enjoyed driving it. I bought the EX-L for the heated seats. The leather driver side seat and the center console has worn places, tears in the leather, I guess from my long commutes. Sun visors were recalled and even though I have bought 3 New Honda Civics I still had to pay over $100.00 to get the drivers side replaced since I had so many miles on the car. Other than that I would highly recommend this car. )36 mph highway doesn't hurt either)."

Pros: "Reliable, economical, fun to drive,"

Cons: "I can't think of any, sorry"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought my 2009 Honda Civic brand new. I have had NO mechanical problems at all. I've maintained it, as per manufacturers recommendations. She drives, sweet, tight and smooth on the road, oh and picks up speed like a rocket! Economical! It's just a perfect vehicle to own, for life."
