Pros: "great price, reliable, durable, roomy"

Cons: "bad in snow"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought it new in 2006... the only things I've had to have serviced were: caliper was sticking ( corroded from New England weather ) and replacement of control arm bushings for the front wheels. I'm on my third set of tires (third set put on last year), have replaced the headlights once, the spark plugs 3 times, and oil regularly (every ~7500mi). The amount of room in the car is deceiving, I've fit 9 2x8x10 foot boards in the car and still was able to close the trunk. If all Hondas are as good as this one, I would definitely buy one again. It really is a fantastic car, and I hope to get 300K miles on it before replacing it."

Pros: "Great gas milage and very reliable, rides smooth"

Cons: "I have none"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"The only thing I've had to replace in 168,000 miles besides the basics of tires, brakes, battery is the starter. I've followed the maintenance plan and my car has been so reliable. The car also gets great gas mileage. This car can go another 100,000"

Pros: "Good gas mileage, dashboard setup- easy to use."

Cons: "Noisy&bump, obstructed views,Bumper integrity poor"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"I have been driving different Honda's for the last 25 years. I've been driving this 2008 Civic for 5 years and it is Not the Quality that Honda usually distributes. The car is very Noisy & bumpy on the road. The side windows have obstructed views & impair your vision. The Integrity & craftsmanship of the Front Bumpers are very poor. One lil bump & the Bumper clips break; then the Bumper is continuously popping out of the sides. Have had the Bumper repaired Numerous times. The only Pros - good gas mileage, dashboard setup-easy to use. Easy to read Speedometer."

Pros: "Zippy, fun to drive, reliable"

Cons: "Road noise, ease of entering info into navigation"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Love our 2009 Civic after 41,500 miles. Very zippy for the engine size. Our only complaint is road noise at highway speeds. VERY reliable with routine maintenance, responsive handling and easy to park. We got the EX-L package with navigation. Use the navigation all of the time. We formerly owned multiple Toyota products(2 Camry, 4 Corolla, and 2 Lexus), but we love the Honda styling, price and gas mileage. Would definitely buy other Honda products."

Pros: "Zero"

Cons: "cheaply made. boring to drive. poor customer serv"

"I bought the car new in 2007 and had issues with it pulling to the right from day one. I didn't test drive it much because I figured, hey, it's a Honda and they've made Civics for years and they're reliable. But... no. Recalled for several issues including paint, engine block cracks, rear control arms. The rear control arm caused uneven and rapid tire wear for 6 years before it was acknowledged and replaced. I complained about it after 10 months but they ignored requests to fix it or to replace the tires. The water pump went out at 35k miles which is insane. Many alignments a year were needed because of the control arm issue. Honda ignored the issue and wouldn't cover any tire replacements even though there was a class action lawsuit. They've sent me marketing materials since the first month I bought the car trying to get me to trade it in etc... super annoying. So I decided to buy a different brad a few months ago and I'm glad I did. Completely different experience and I'm happy to say that I'll never buy a Honda again."

"2009 Honda Civic LX, 5 speed. Good to great condition. 26 MPG city, 34 MPG highway. Like new interior, exterior with minimal wear. No engine issues. Gets routine maintenance. No longer being used."
