Pros: "instant response to pressing on gas"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"was that my car drains the battery when the engine is not on. Other than that 0 problems! I also love that the accelerator is attached by wire, and not electronic. It has instant response as opposed to the electronic accelerator which has an annoying and dangerous delay."

"Extra credit for the interior. I am around 250 pounds and we have been driving this car for 13 years and the seats are like new. Other cars I have had have had the seats in shreds after 2 years. I want to get rid of this car solely because I am sick and tired of having the same car for this long."

"I bought my '03 Accord brand new and drove it regularly for 13 years. At 145,000 miles, it still had a great deal of life left and was in good condition. I bought a Honda because of its reputation as being a solidly built, dependable and mechanically reliable car. For the most part, I found that to be true. I maintained it pretty well over the years, and aside from regular maintenance, I never had any *major* mechanical failures or defects. There were, however, a GREAT MANY recalls on this car over the years -- too many, in my opinion, most of which had to do with the airbags. In my experience, it seems that the car's durability (or lack thereof, in certain instances) began to reveal itself as the car aged. I suppose this is true for most cars, but in the case of my Honda, I was disappointed. The ABS went out way too early in the life of the car -- at just about 100,000 miles. The brakes needed replacing more often than should be necessary, and I didn't really put any more or less wear on my brakes than most other drivers. The remote key function quit working, so I had to manually lock/unlock my door. Both of my digital keys fell apart and I've since learned this is an issue with many Hondas. I did enjoy how this car drove, specifically how it always felt as if it had a firm grip on the road and handled very well. The air conditioner was excellent as it still put out ice cold air at the time I sold it. I also very much liked how it was well insulated against road noise and wind. Though it was by no means a "luxury" car, it was a comfortable car and just the right size. For 13 years of daily use and for someone who could've been a bit better with regular maintenance, I think this car did well."

Pros: "no major problems after 10 plus years!"

Cons: "small truck space for all the money I saved. lol"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Bought this car new 12/04, had only a few minor hick-ups in the beginning [ replace one injector]like any new car & but this hybrid preformed extremely well for the last 10 years & counting. No major problems of any kind for the last 9 years. And like any car I own, all the necessary maintenance was done at all time periods in the life of the car.[imo only half the folks do not or can’t afford or care] Still gets 32MPH in city driving, highway 34 to 37MPH. Original battery pack, catalytic converter, exhaust system etc...perfect condition. bottom line, take care of it & it will take care of you....."

Pros: "Great handling, comforatble interior, reliable"

Cons: "Uncovered cup holders,"

"I bought this car new in 2003. Aside from regular oil and occassional battery changes, I did not have any major problems to repair until it hit 10 years/100,000 miles. In the last 3 years though, I've had to replace the water pump, the alternator, an air hose and the starter, I've had to have the transmission flushed and I've also replaced the timing belt. The car drives smoothly, the interior is extremely comfortable but has some road noise. I love how it handles. I can take sharp corners without having to be in the middle of the road to do so. Gas mileage is good. I fill up every week and a half or so. The interior still looks good even after 13 years, growing children and multiple dogs. Thank goodness for Scotchguard! The fabric on the seats is very soft and comfy. Too bad they no longer use this fabric in the new models. Overall, I still love this car! I still enjoy driving it and it's been reliable."
