I own this car - My approximate mileage is 263,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Reliability"
Cons: "Would prefer more sporty handling"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"My 1998 4-cyl 5-speed has 263,000 miles on it. I bought it 7 years ago with 128,000 miles. Until very recently, I had only replaced timing belt/water pump as recommended and also the alternator, motor-wise. Other than that, front brakes and other front-end parts. It was using oil when I bought it, about a quart every 1,000+ miles. Doesn't smoke or leak, and this problem has not gotten any worse over the years. In hindsight, I probably should have sold it at around 250,000 miles. Since then, I have replaced timing belt/water pump again, replaced master/slave cylinder for clutch, done exhaust work, brake work, and car is currently in shop for a yet-undiagnosed fuel system problem. This latest problem was the first time it had ever left me stranded. Not bad for 263,000 miles. Still has cold A/C and never any trouble with that. Highly recommend the 5-speed. It consistently gets 32 mpg, with my mix of highway and city driving. Also, handles great in snow and rain."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 85,500
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I bought this car in November 2008 with ~33,500 miles from the original owner for $8,500 plus tax, title, license, etc. It was originally purchased in December 2000. It has ~85,500 miles on it now. Since purchasing it, I've replaced the following major parts/had major work done: tires, battery, timing belt (due to time, not mileage), water pump (due to time, not mileage), AC system recharged in 2012. As for routine maintenance, of course I've changed oil, transmission, spark plugs and brake fluid at the required intervals, if not more regularly. I've changed the AC cabin filter twice and rotate/align tires at regular intervals. The bulb is out on the dash panel clock so I can see the time displayed during the day, but it can be difficult at night. That's pretty much it! Mine is a 2001 Honda Accord EX Sedan, 4-Cylinder. This November will be 5 years since I've owned this car. So you figure I purchased this car for about $9,000. That comes out to a $150 monthly car payment! Most cars are financed for 5 years. I've owned 4 Hondas so I guess you can say that I'm a little biased, but they do make quality vehicles that last. 1989 Honda CRX HF (Purchased Used) 2001 Honda Civic Coupe EX (Purchased New) 2001 Honda Accord Sedan EX (Purchased Used, discussed above) 2012 Honda Accord EX-L V6 (Purchased New)"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 120,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Beautiful Apearrance"
Cons: "Plastic Bumpers"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"This car overall has excellent perfomance. We have got the car totaled but still it has potential. Be careful about the bumpers. They are plastic. Do not remove the front bumper. There is an air filter for clean air guarded by the bumper"
