Cons: "The 4-cylinder takes a while to get up to speed"

"Fully loaded with every possible option. I have garaged it most of these years, hence the 38000 KM mileage. I am sad to hear my $27000 machine is worth only $5000 nowadays. I will never sell it. I'd rather give it to my kids because this baby looks and drives like it just came out of the showroom - inside and out. The leather smells just like the day i bought it! Not one single door dent as I always park the farthest and away from other vehicles. I hardly used the warranty on the car because it just timed out. I am sure it has lots of life left in it. An amazing car! Even Jesus's disciples drove one - it says right there that "they were all in one accord"!"
Pros: "Easy to modify for racing, great for commuting"
Cons: "Slightly heavy on sharp 120 deg turns at 40 mph."

"With a few modifications, lowering springs, shocks, 18 inch racing alloy rims and Z rated tires , tint, sports exhaust, this car kicks butt on the track and off.
Handles extremely well on the turns, top speed 144 mph (on oval track)... with an overall gas mileage of 29 mpg. I used this car 80% for commuting and 20% for racing. Amazing car, runs well and still can beat some of the newer hondas on the track. e.g. 2012 Honda Accord Coupe EX modified ~245 hp.
I would definitely buy another Honda Coupe, either 2017 or 2018 depending on how my 2001 holds up as my car reaches to the 200,000 mile range."
"I've owned this car for five years and, overall, it's been great. I bought it at 60k miles and now it's around 100k. It hasn't needed any emergency maintenance; I bring it to a mechanic every 7000 or 8000 miles and there haven't been any surprises. The only weird thing about it is that it hates the heat - if I have the radio on during the summer (about 80-90 degrees), it will stop playing. Out of all the Accord owners that I know, I'm the only one who has had an issue like this; I bought it with this issue and haven't fixed it yet since it doesn't bother me much. One thing I love about it is that it gets great gas mileage - though it's supposed to get about 25mpg, I regularly get closer to 28 or 29mpg. It's comfortable and drives well, and I'll probably look for another Honda when it's time for me to get a new car."
