"This was the most reliable car I have ever owned. I bought it new and got 225,000 before I got rear ended and it was totaled. Even though it was the most reliable car I have owned I still had some issues : front axels $2k, transmission at 200k was $2k and an electrical problem I fixed myself. The most annoying was the catalytic converter $900 at around 100k. Despite these problems it was still the best value for money car I have had compared to other brands. Unfortunately it was also extremely boring."
"I have owned this car for 14 years. I bought a Honda Civic recently and realized how good my old Accord is. The spacing in the vehicle is too good. Reliability is awesome. I now feel I should have stuck with my accord even tho it was 14 years old. Note i have always kept up with the maintenance regularly. Thats all you need for this reliable car."
Pros: "very good preformance is good for a 4cylinder"
Cons: "the interior is not great"

"I bought in 2007, change the belt, transmission flush, and had it painted. 124k miles it had and now it is 247,495 miles. It need some wheel spring work and sensor need fixing. Overall this vehicle is very good and don't want to let go. Very reliable and sturdy. Always my backup. Honda Accord is a very good car."
"Now wait, come to think of it, Honda has a huge design center in SoCal, among others, I'm sure. And AMERICAN-built, depending on the make and model.
So, at least for me, after owning probably no less than (10) Honda / Acura products. To make my point, ...I trusted my kid's lives (and my marriage)to Honda, when the kids had to commuted 1000 miles round-trip to come home from the university...many dark and lonely nights. And ya' know...I didn't miss a bit of sleep over their traveling at night on icy roads. Why, you ask? Because they had a Honda...wrapped with snow tires. No Problem.
So, here I am, looking for yet another one. They not always be the sexiest, or sportiest, or even get the occasional second glance. But I'm OK with that...
I could extol the virtues of this particular model on this particular moment in time. But what's the point? We're probably all here looking at the Honda's because some back there had the same conversation with us. They already know...
Buy one...any one...as long as it Honda, it /they will always be there for you. ~ fg ~"
