"never buy this car, runs like butt, looks like butt, drives like a tree. Extreme buyers remorse awaits you. Just do not do it. this car will leave you dead upon start up, it's just a moody bad car."

Pros: "Great to drive, awesome value, good mpg."

Cons: "None, really. A delightful piece of engineering."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This is a totally fantastic vehicle. Just the right amount of pep, with decent gas mileage. I regularly get over 27 MPG at 72 MPH. If I drove slower, and took aerodynamic precautions, I'm sure I would do even better. This year did not have the passenger airbag, but there were two trays set into the dash on the passenger side, very handy for organizing. Bought mine at about 140k for $1400, and it had been used as a regular commuter from the Gorge to Seattle. I'm now at 293k, and still use it weekly for a 70 mile one way commute. Drives really solidly, really hugs the road on curves with its FWD and double wishbone suspension. Always felt safe driving it from mid-state to the coast. With a couple thousand invested into it, it would be good for another 100k, I'm sure."

"This car still has the acceleration of a new car. SUPER reliable and I work all over the county. The interior is intact, everything works, upholstery is perfect and I have 4 sons! Never has broken down in 5 years. Great gas mileage...air conditioning works great, heat works great...such a nice car."

Pros: "Cheap to refuel! Big trunk! Really fun to drive!"

Cons: "Sadly the car doesn't have any cup holders."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I purchased my '92 Honda Accord DX Coupe about two years ago, and I love this car! Even though my car already had over 300,000 miles the odometer when I bought it, she hasn't failed me yet. She gets 35MPG on the highway; possibly a little more when driving around town. The car currently has no problems, and runs/drives "Clean as a whistle.". She's only been to the shop a few times for minor repairs and maintenance. This car is comfortable and extremely reliable. It'll run darn near forever; if you take good car of it. I highly recommend this car to anyone whom is looking for reliable, high-mpg car that will get them from Point-A to Point-B and back again."

"My first car with a 5speed manual, i have drove that car very very hard and havent broke it. When driven to the limits, stock brakes fade after a few minutes, and rear suspension is very tire limiting. Chassis has a good feel, and steering is very responsive."

Pros: "Will last forever, great for long trips"

Cons: "not the best car for snow, window motors burn out"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"My wife and I have loved our car! It is comfortable and very reliable. Only when we got in an accident did we have any troubles with it besides common maintenance. We got in an accident because the car doesn't handle well in snow. Also the window motors can burn out after a while. This car has taken us literally across the country though without any worries or difficulty. I've never worried about it breaking down on long trips! It's a great car and will last forever"
