"1996 GMC Yukon SLE Z71 4x4.New 10 ply tires. Transmission and engine have been rebuilt. I use it to pull boats, trailers, tractors and to work out on our land. Runs good, has cold a/c. Transmission still goes from 2WD to 4HI and 4LO without any issues.Very clean and well taken care of. Asking price is $4,500."

Pros: "Great traction on snowy, slippery roads."

Cons: "Poor transfer case design."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"In my opiniion this vehicle is just an all around great vehicle. Other than a fuel pump, (due to my lack of replacing a fuel filter in an appropiate time). I've only had to do brakes, tires, distributor cap, rotor and spark plugs as needed. Due to a manufacturers design flaw of the transfer case I had to have a new transfer case installed after about 210,000 miles. Now after 239,00 miles the original starter had to be replaced. It handles well in all types of driving conditions. It has great traction in snow in the 2WD mode I've only used the 4WD mode occasionally and have never used the AUTO 4WD mode, I can judge for myself when I need 4WD or not. If I had not purchased my deceased brothers pickup truck I would still drive the Yukon. I'v e been the only owner since buying it new. If I had not purchased my deceased brothers pick-up truck I would still be driving the Yukon. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this vehicle."

Pros: "Powerful, affordable, reliable, comfortable, safe"

Cons: "Expensive tires."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"My 1999 Yukon, with the venerable 5.7 liter Vortec, 350 SBC is simply the toughest most well engineered vehicle ever made. At 248,540 miles, it sits ALL ORIGINAL. Right down to the original factory SPARK PLUGS! This also includes all drivetrain components. I have never had a leak, hiccup, or failure in this SUV. It is mechanically and electronically PERFECT, and I believe 100% that it will hit 500,000 miles or more with only routine synthetic oil changes. For anyone looking to buy, as long as the vehicle is taken care of, it's a safe bet. The engine is bulletproof, and simple. My formula is Mobil 1 Full Synthetic oil, Shell V-Power 93 Octane gasoline (Yes it is more expensive, yes it is actually worth it), and Marvel Mystery oil in both the gas and oil at all times."

Pros: "Comfortable, smooth ride, safe, plenty of storage"

Cons: "needs alignments often, not fuel efficient"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I loved it more before the price of gas went up. It is comfortable and rides very smoothly. Leather captain's chairs are super comfortable. Sound system is greater in the rear of the vehicle than the front with the windows down. Great for long car rides. Downsides, it only seats five. One complaint, I am a 5'8" female and the seatbelts are designed for a six foot male. Even at the lowest adjustment, it rides up around my neck. Overall, great, reliable truck, only real mechanical problem was when the electronic security component that keeps the key from starting failed, the mechanics had to try 6 times before they found the problem. It was an easy fix. Heater on the driver's seat failed the day after the warranty expired."
