"Got the truck new and have never had even one problem with it other then the third row seat latch is loose. I have another pick up truck which I need for work and don't really drive this truck enough to keep it. The seats are custom but match the Grey interior perfectly."

"Honestly this ride amazes me every day. I have 175k miles and the only repairs that have been done are an alternator and brakes and tires. The 6.0L engine is dynamic and the 4L80 transmission is e most reliable in any SUV built. Bose sound is awesome and the interior is comfortable. If it has one drawback, it would be the complex electronics before the technology was completely ready for it. Although it hasn't given me much trouble, I have worked on several others with climate control problems and the like. If you want a solid, dependable, powerful SUV, this one is for you."

"This truck is awesome it has 215689 miles on it nothing has ever been done to it stock everything besides the simple usual maintenance like oil changes and spark plugs doesn't use any oil at all! Plenty of power the 6.0 lq4 is a healthy beast will tow with no problem we pulled a 28 ft pontoon home from Georgia with it. Pulled bass boats fishing and packed it down with camping gear and a bass boat with no issues also been all over the southeast and back with no problems. The only issue I have to complain about is that the rocker panels on both sides in the back have rusted holes in them. Other than that this truck had been amazing for our family. But still to this day with 215689 miles on it, it will do whatever we ask of it with no questions asked! Great vehicle!!"

Pros: "Reliable, Comfortable,"

Cons: "Hate the Captains Chairs"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"We purchased a used 2005 GMC Yukon SLT in 2010. When we purchased it had 112,000 miles. I was trading in a Lexus RX 350 after having a baby, and deciding not to go back to work, we had to down scale. This Yukon has been the best used car I have ever purchased. It has never had a major mechanical issue. The only thing I didn't really like are the captains chairs (bucket back seats) as I would have preferred to buckle the car seat in the middle of a bench seat. I won't lie driving it home I noticed Considerable road noise, I didn't have in my Lexus. After a while I didn't notice. The seats are extremely comfortable when traveling, the DVD player is nice now that my son is older, and I like that the third row seats can be pushed up or completely removed for more room. We have an 80 pound lab that rides comfortably in the back when the seats are up or removed. Although the third row can seat 3 people, I'm 5'2 and it was an uncomfortable ride for me. So if you have growing teenagers that third row could be a little cramped. Also, when that seat is down there is zero storage space in the back of the car. We purchased a Thule Box for extra storage space, which has worked out nicely. For a larger SUV it is very user friendly to drive, parks and maneuvers easy. It is a strong, solid car. I have always felt safe driving. The trim package on these cars is important as I don't think I would have liked it as much without all the comforts that came with the SLT....autoride, tow package, DVD with remote and wireless headphones, Multi-disk player, leather heated seats, On-Star, Navigation."
