I own this car - My approximate mileage is 130,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "comfortable to travel"
Cons: "gas hog"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This has been a great vehicle for us as we have four kids and love to travel in it. Only concerns are some of the interior plastic cup holder doors that have broken. I would definately buy again. I just had it detailed and it looks new and its a 2006! I may look to have some of the interior resurfaced bucause I plan to have this for a long time."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 210,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Roomy, Reliable"
Cons: "Some Interior plastic doodads failed"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This was our second Yukon XL. We drove our 1999 for 190,000 miles and traded it in on this 2005. Both received nothing but regular maintenance and wear items. At 210,000 miles we're ready for another. Super comfortable ride for up to 8 people plus room for a lot of gear plus the power to also tow our ski boat. Not the cheapest on gas, but if you consider pounds of people and stuff per mile per gallon - it is right up there with any smaller car. Very natural location for controls, sits you up nice and high to see what's going on with good visibility in all directions. My only ding is on the number of plastic doodads in the interior that failed. The clips holding the hinged panels on the back of the middle row of seats failed. A rear AC vent disappeared. An interior light in a rear door fell out. But the main running gear and engine are still strong at current high miles. Love this SUV."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 340,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Handiness to drive, reliability"
Cons: "None"

"I purchased a Yukon XL 2500 in January of 2004 as my work vehicle as an ambulatory equine veterinarian. That truck now has close to 340000 miles on it. It has never let me down. I have had two significant accidents with it, one running into a gravel trailer (my fault) almost totaling the front end, the other being rear ended by a full size van. The GMC still has its original brakes and transmission to the disbelief of many. This truck has never even had a hiccup. My mechanic thinks it will easily see 400000 miles, and he loves this truck. I purchased a 2010 Yukon XL 2500 3 1/2 years ago when the 2003 hit 250000 miles thinking it would be near retirement. Well, she is showing no sign of slowing down!! Love this truck! Quadrasteer on it has been a dream and has never needed any servicing. Thank you GMC!!!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 186,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Roomy for for 8 people, Great cargo space,"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"We bought this SUV 6 years ago, leary of buying it with 102,000 miles on it already, we had a Ford Expedition, but added twins to our family and needed the same size passenger space, but bigger cargo area for strollers...we bought it for $10,000.00 and got a great deal on it at that time. We are now at 186,000 miles and this SUV has NEVER NEVER failed us!!!!....sure we have had the normal things that need fixed, but no repairs over $500.00 in the last 6 years....this has been such a good reliable, sturdy, vehicle for our family of 6. And it is still going strong, we would not hesitate to go cross country in it tomorrow if we needed to!!!! Although with that being said of the high miles we are looking for a vehicle with lower miles, we would love to upgrade to a newer model of the same vehicle but cannot find anything within our price range with decent miles on it. So we are shopping around until we find the best replacement, and may have to settle on a van (i really don't want to), BUT WE WILL BUY and OWN ANOTHER YUKON ONE DAY!!!! We have other goals like building a house in the next 2 years so, we are going to sacrifice for a couple of years to get us through the build and move, then buy our dream Yukon again!! Such a great overall vehicle!!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 135,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Love body style, amazing comfort, lots of extras."
Cons: "-Gas mileage, no AUX, no bluetooth, small 3rd row."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"The Yukon Denali is a great SUV. You have comfort, reliability, and peace of mind knowing you are in a safe vehicle. I have a small child, and the back seats have weathered quite a bit of wear and still look great. The DVD with wireless headsets is also a huge bonus with little ones. I also love that the back seats are heated as well. As far as the driver/front passenger experience, very comfortable, plush seating, once again, love my heated seats!! And there are multiple options to adjust the seating to your exact specifics. The 3rd row works for kids, but if you try to put a full size adult back there it is definitely cramped,I don't need the 3rd row seating, so the removable seats are also a great feature so you may store them in the garage if needed. One other thing I wasn't fond of...no AUX jack in the front console and no bluetooth outside of OnStar. This was a drawback for me as I like to stream Pandora, as well as have a wireless calling feature when driving. I could run cables to the DVD unit for music streaming, but that looks bulky and it gets in my way. I guess I will have to go with a newer year to get the perks! Also, for the size of the vehicle, the Yukon Denali has an awesome turn radius. Not at all bulky like some SUV's. Gas mileage is an obvious negative. When I first got the Yukon in 2008 it was getting around 14. Now that I am over 130,000 it has just recently dropped down to 12 average MPG. I am actually looking to trade it for a 4 door sedan since I don't need such a large SUV. If you are looking for a great SUV this is a good choice. I love the style as well. Always have...best of luck!!"
