"I traded me 2007 GMC YUKON XL in for a newer used 2010 GMC Terrain SLE. I am extremely frustrated with the fact that 6 months into this ownership, a GMC product had it's waveplate and transmission break. This vehicle only has 84,000 miles and feel that GMC has done an awful job in manufacturing transmissions!! $1000.00 in repairs later and I am now looking for a non-GMC product, since it has given me a reason to be concerned about the manufacture of these engines. I am now not EVER buying another GMC product!"
Cons: "I-4 engine ought to be relegated to europe of Iran"

"Just completed a 5000+ mile trip in 8 days! What a comfortable vehicle w/excellent seats & very quiet. Do not buy the I-4 unless your strictly in city driving. The four is terrible in the west where some speed limits are 80 MPH. The vehicle will hardly hold 85 in the mts., even lightly loaded. It continually downshifts & struggled to get to the top of Pikes Peak - Sounds like an old bull snorting when pulling hard. It bear-tracks in snow. A VERY, VERY NICE VEHICLE IN ALL RESPECTS! Mileage was 27-28 on all highway driving. No idea what a V-6 would do but it would be worth the extra 120HP."
"I leased this car in Sept 2013. I only have 16000 miles on it in almost 2 years, so I take it easy around the city. I like the ride. Its smooth and quiet. Could be better. But hey your only spending 30k, its not a Lexus. I have tracked my gas milage over the past 4500 miles. 2900 in the city and 1600 on the highway. The results have been awful. In the city I get 17.58 MPG and HW I get 23.95 MPG. I knew it would be lower than the stated, but were talking 20% city and 25% HW less than the stated. I did it the old school way of filling up, track the milage, fill up again and see how many gallons were used. I dont use the computer in the car. Its no where close. The dealer talked me out of the V6 and AWD saying the gas milage would make up the difference of me wanting those features. I cant wait till next year to turn it back in and get something with more power and space for the same fuel economy."
