2010 GMC Terrain

Does not get 32 mpg on highway

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 3,500

Pros: "Great ride, comfortable, nice looking"

Cons: "False advertisement of fuel efficiency."

"I was given an AMAZING present by my husband for Christmas (the week before Thanksgiving)the most beautiful SUV, a 2012 GMC Terrain!!! The window sticker states that you can expect an average of 22mpg city/32 mpg highway. Unfortunately, Goldie, (that's her name)doesn't average over 26 on the highway. We had a couple of error messages come up on the car and immediately took her to our local dealership where we purchased her to get her checked out. We were told by the service manager that they corrected the error messages. We were also told that we had to wait for the engine "to be broken in" ???? I've never heard of that one! I am pleased though with the fact that it's such a nice ride, good looking vehicle. I hope that the engine breaks in soon, as the mpg rate is the main reason my husband purchased the Terrain."

With the Cost of Gas... Dont rent this...

I don't own this car

Pros: "Nice Interior"

Cons: "Gas Drinking."

"I had to rent a car and so I was given this vehicle or a Pickup... I reluctantly got this. Lousy gas mileage.. Especially since I drive 52 Miles one way... I had the V6 and it was a gas guzzler... Be wary since gas is going to get more expensive with this vehicle."

Wonderful Small SUV

"Had this car for awhile now and couldn't be happier. We test drove several Small/Midsize SUV's before we finally decided on the Terrain. It by far had the greatest driving experience. We have the SLT2 version."

GREAT VEHICLE

Pros: "FAIR PRICE, ENJOY DRIVING, EASY TO KEEP CLEAN"

Cons: "REAR HEAD REST BLOCK REAR VIEW, DASH ILLUMINATION"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"LIKE LOOKS IN AND OUT. FIRM HANDLING.4CYL HAS QUICK RESPONSE.HAVE TO GET USE TO ENGINE NOISE WHEN GOING THRU THE GEARS(I have mostly had V8's).WOULD RECOMMEND THIS OVER THE CHEY VERSION."
