Pros: "good transportation"

Cons: "very poor gas mileage for small truck"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"Bought this truck new. Had very few problems. My only complaint is the truck is turning into a rust bucket. Its near the bottom on the extended cab on the passenger side. It must be a defect common to Sonomas. The paint was never damaged and rusted from the inside out."

Pros: "4WD when needed."

Cons: "falling apart after 80K miles"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"Significant system failures - brake, wheel bearings, electrical, body and frame rust through. All with only very light 'truck' duty, just used as a regular car."

Pros: "Runs good, good price, long lasting"

Cons: "doesn't have 4 wheel drive, no sports package"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I have owned this vehicle now for a little over two months. Only one issue I had which was the starter going bad, but that could happen to any vehicle. It is a solid vehicle with good gas mileage, as well as able to haul stuff when needed to do so. I think this truck is a very valuable truck!"

Pros: "Reliable engine and transmission."

Cons: "Parking brake and arm rest broken. No dome light."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"Bought vehicle new and maintained per manual. Arm rest busted out second year. Third year the parking brake operation failed and I didn't bother fixing it. After 12 years vehicle now leaking coolant somewhere from the cooling system. Good value vehicle. I would consider buying another Chevy/GMC truck."

Pros: "Great gas mileage! Hugs curves good for a truck."

Cons: "No guts for pulling hills. 1980's interior styling"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I traded a car title for title for this little truck, and it is a great daily driver. I drive 50 miles round trip via 2-lane,hilly country roads and average 23mpg. The only complaints I really have is the lack of power to pull it's own weight up hills. I have to drop to 3rd gear and sometimes 2nd just to get it over the top of some hills. the only other complaint is the bench seat. It is essentially a metal frame with a little bit of foam and a layer of cloth. Aside from that, it is what it is. A work truck. Nothing more. Nothing less."
