"owned 6 7.3 fords 1 5.4 and v10( super duties) , two f150s. had 04 250 in shop more than i drove it. traded it for 05 f150..two rear end failures and ate brakes all before 30k and 5.4 is gutless. traded for this 06 hd 2500 gmc . 12-14 mpg with a dual exhaust system .r. excellent quality and rides good for a 3/4 ton . no problems. out tows any gas ford i have every had, is kind on tires and brakes. as far as a gas big truck, really no competition from ford or dodge. new tundra only truck even in the ballpark of the gmc."

"I bought my truck new in 2002 and have worked it hard as a farm truck 250,000 miles - no problems and will put another 100,000 on it - original battery, no rust, doesn't burn oil, original transmission, no motor work, replaced brakes ONCE at 120,000 and still going"
