"I have owned the 2005 GMC since new (more than 10 years) has had only routine maintenance (fluid changes, tire rotations/replacement and just replaced batteries for the first time) never had any mechanical/electrical problems. Plenty of power to do everything expected from a 1 ton diesel. has been vey reliable and durable still dives and rides the same as when first pulled off the dealership lot. Have used it to pull 40 ft. 5th wheel trailer and equipment trailers."
"GMC needs to bring back this gas engine! Powerful and cost efficient. Also, this is the most comfortable truck I have ever been in. We own 3 newer GM trucks/SUVs and none of the seats are as comfortable."
"New bug shield and window guards, new emergency light five way, new diamond plated toolbox, new custom floor mats, just bought, can't use due to illness. It's a real looker. Regrettably have to sell, 10,000 firm."
"If I could restore it to be like knew I would, best Truck and vehicle ever owned hands down. Long service life, still going and expect it to keep going for a while more. Despite the miles and the age, it still had the horse power and gas mileage it had when it was new. While I don't know if they make them as robust today as they did on this one, I certainly would love to have a latest exact model as this one."
"This is my first GMC truck I have ever purchased, my first GMC in any vehicle. I have had nothing but good service out of it. It had 182,745 miles on it when purchased, it has 201,779 now. I have replaced the windshield wipers, water pump, fan belt, and tires and that's it. The water pump I expected to go out just maintenance. This truck is the easiest truck to work on, never seen anything like it. Parts are easy to get, and fairly priced. It doesn't use oil, and gets EXCELLENT gas mileage. I have had Chevrolet, Ford, and Dodge trucks before, but none compare. I like the body style as it is a 4 door, but appears to be a 2 door, the back doors open in the suicide manner. Cool!!!"
