I own this car - My approximate mileage is 42,000
Pros: "Great value, great quality, great looking"
Cons: "Plasticy Interior. Needs a std locking tailgate"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I got a 2008 work truck with rubber floormats and manual windows and locks. The truck drives great, is very quiet, and gets 20mpg on the highway all day long. I've had no problems with anything in the first 3 years of ownership. My only complaint is that parts of the interior feel cheap, but I did get the base W/T. No rattles or squeeks though. The only options I have are cruise, XM Radio, A/C, and the Eaton Diff. I got the SL exterior appearance package, and I get compliments on my truck all the time. It looks like a $35k truck. You can't beat a brand new truck for $20k that has a 100,000 mi. warranty on the drivetrain."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 54,600
Pros: "Comfortable ride, ergonomics are driver friendly"
Cons: "Low MPG,"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I have owned both the 2007 Sierra 1500 reg cab 4X2, and the 2007 Sierra 2500HD Crew Cab 4X4 /W Z71 pkg.. Both are very comfortable and have a quiet smooth ride. The 2500 feels like an HD truck in that it is a bit stiff when empty. I know they do not provide an EPA rating for the 2500HD. Here is what I observed. 11.5 MPG from the start. I added a High Flow air filter from Amsoil. Similar to a K&N but is a dry filter. MPG improved to 12MPG. The lower air dam was missing when I purchased the truck. There was no noticeable change in town MPG. Highway MPG improved to 16.3 after adding the air dam. I just put on a Flowmast Muffler but have not been able to do a highway check but my in town MPG looks to be in the 15+MPG range so far. I am still on my first tank after adding the muffler. I have notice that it feels like it takes less effort to get the truck moving from a stop. It coasts a bit further once I let off the gas. It shifts into 6th gear at a much slower speed (in town). It just feels like it isn't working as hard. It has improved throttle response. It also sounds great. I would highly recommend these improvements to anyone with the 6.0L engine. I still plan on a computer programmer. The real test will be when I pull my RV Trailer later this month."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 8,500
Pros: "Sexy truck. Chics love it. good MPG"
Cons: "No reverse in cold weather, power steering issues"
"I have the SLE crewcab with 4.8 liter. never have I driven a truck with such a small motor that makes so much horsepower. I use this truck for commuting 90 miles a day and gets 23mpg down hill and 18 mpg up hill if you drive with cruise on and use neutral down hills. I use to have an S-10 4 cyl that got 21mpg all the time. this ruck does average 15-16 mpg depending how you drive it. Cruise control definitely helps. I was worried at first that I should of bought the 5.3 6speed model. After seeing reviews and feeling all this power, Im glad I bought it. I think the engineers at GM have this motor maxed out with horse power so to add a cold air intake or some loud exhaust system would be a waist of time and money and most likely make it slower and lower MPG. I run my tire pressure at 35 psi and it rides like a Cadillac. when i put 44 psi it feels like and old GMC ready to shake apart and you can feel every bump in the road. I love this truck. Not the fastest thing, but an overall good truck"
